This page gives useful, practical information to organisers who may wish to consider inviting one of the layouts to an exhibition. Thank you for your time in considering us.
On a general note, each of the layouts is easily transportable in one medium-sized MPV ( curently a Renault Scenic ) in addition to two operators plus weekend luggage if need be. We aim to keep costs to a minumum, as the layouts are exhibited for visitor and operator enjoyment. Each layout needs one 240Volt AC mains outlet. Visitors are welcome to help operate so that they have a rewarding visit experience. We pride ourselves on being inclusive to all members of the model railway community. Visitors who have additional or special needs are always welcome to join in and run the trains; assistance is willingly and discreetly available. The North Downs Light Railway and Rouxmesnil use rambler hand-held controllers and can be operated from the front which is handy for visitors who use wheelchairs.
Specific details for the layouts are given below. Please note that " size " is the core size of the layout, and does not include standing space at the back or access room at the sides.
North Downs Light Railway
Size : L-shaped : 10 ft 6 in by 10 ft 6 in. Straight : 20 ft long by 2 ft deep

Rouen Ste-Catherine
Size : 8ft long by 2 ft deep
Insurance value : £7000 / €10000
Souk el Khemis
Size : 8 ft long by 2 ft deep
Insurance value : £1000 / €1500
