Sora/ Tron Forever

My name is Kuza, and I'm the webmaster here. This site is an archive dedicated to all that is Sora/ Tron. An odd pairing, you say? Well, the following rant (courtesy to my partner, Dark Mythril) will prove to you that Sora/ Tron is the right pairing! So sit back, relax, and enjoy the wonders of Sora and Tron. BEGIN RANT

First off, I'm not a "fangirl", nor do I have a yaoi fandom. I didn't just see these two characters, witness the hug, and think, "Wow, those two should hook up!" It started, perhaps, with a comment on GameTalk about there being a romantic element in every world, except for Space Paranoids and Timeless River. (It's an arguable subject, but that's what they said.) Someone else said something along the lines of "Unless you count Tron hugging Sora in Space Paranoids." I laughed then, wondering what kind of a person would believe in that sort of thing. (I hadn't gone to Space Paranoids at that point)

After witnessing the scene, I began to think it over, and here's what I came up with:

Tron is pretty lonely down there in that computer. There are NO OTHER programs. He doesn't know about sexuality or anything, so he wouldn't find anything wrong with falling in love with a 15 yr old of the same gender. (If Tron has a gender) He probably has never SEEN a female. Seeing as he's so lonely and has no one else to care about, chances are he feels VERY strongly toward Sora. This becomes apparent when Tron embraces Sora after not even knowing him that long. (Or maybe he doesn't know about the limits of displaying your affection for a friend you've just met. :P) Tron probably doesn't have testosterone or anything, so he wouldn't be attracted to any particular gender.

Of course, you may already find a couple of flaws in this. For one, Tron also befriended Donald and Goofy. But if you paid attention, you can clearly see that Tron has the most interaction with Sora, and the fact that Tron hugged him first implies that he feels strongest towards Sora. I'm sure that's only ONE of the flaws seen in my little rant here. Many people have said that Tron is "only a computer program". This means that EVERYTHING he does is just ones and zeroes. Zeroes and ones. The people who have said this to me are perhaps the most intelligent of those who disagree with me, and I congratulate the ones who look into it before saying "OMGz SorA luvs Kiari!! Ur GaY!!!11@LOLOLOLOLO!!!!!111". I agree. Tron is a computer program. He's something that is only made to seem human. And let me tell you, he's one good imitation. So here's my ramble for those who are against the pairing for that reason:

If Tron can care about Sora as a friend, he can be romantically attracted to him as well. Tron cared about Yori (his girlfriend) that way in the movie Tron... And we can only assume that even though Tron has a different (and Yori-less) history in KH2, he's still the same Tron. He has emotions. They may not be "real" (well, heck, artificial intelligence has only come so far!) but he can still feel, right? He's not an emotionless android, and is almost on the level of a User. (That's a big ALMOST, though)

 Next comes my favorite part... Sora/Kairi. Yes, Kairi may very well be the love of Sora's life, and it's pretty apparent that Sora DOES love her to some extent. (Character-wise, for those of you who recognize them as only pixels on the screen and not characters. I can't tell you how many times I've heard "pixels on a screen can't love." The images may not, but the characters can... In a fictional sense.) But the question is not "Do you think Sora and Tron have feelings for one another?" Sora's reaction to the hug pretty much ruled out my thoughts of him ever having those feelings for Tron. The tickling scene later on was, perhaps, to make up for Sora's disappointing reaction to the hug. But it only showed Sora's affection for Tron as a FRIEND. So, I can't prove that Sora has feelings for Tron. That is an idea that will probably not exist beyond fandom. The only thing I can say on the matter is this... If Tron were to propose the idea of romance to Sora, chances are Sora would be far too kind and good-natured to turn him down, especially since Tron doesn't have many other friends. But I can't tell for sure, seeing as we've never seen Sora in a romantic situation other than him sort-of flirting with Namine in Chain of Memories.

So there's the logic behind Sora/Tron. Besides that, I think these two WOULD go well together. Just think about it. Sora has a lot to teach Tron, and Tron has quite a bit he could share with Sora. While Sora may not be as fit for Tron as he is for Kairi, they still would make quite a pair. :)

Update 1.6: Because of my browser constantly freezing up, and one of our faithful fan's dial-up going kaput, I have disabled the background music. But you have to admit, it DOES get annoying after a while... And I have added a well-needed "links" section. I should have called it "recognition" because that's what it is. :) Most all of my "regulars" have been mentioned. If you weren't... Well, stick around! We'll be happy to accomodate you, provided you are courteous and all that stuff. I also have a big announcement....

Sardonyx Weapon is making Sora/Tron t-shirts for myself and kuza!

Not just any Sora/Tron shirts, either! They are PERSONALIZED with our internet names ~and~ the website. If we get enough support, this site may have a new, non-freewebs domain name. (www.tronpr0n.com sound good? =D) So stay tuned! Also, these t-shirts will feature custom-made Sora/Tron fanart on both the front AND back. Want one? Talk to sardonyx about a price. XD

And if that isn't enough, I also added some videos to the Screenshots section. 2 of them are the famous hug and tickling scenes, the other 4 are fan videos... XD Watch them to find out! None are serious, unfortunately. Not even mine. =( I've also gone bold-happy. XD

Update 1.5: UHG... I have been working on Sora/Tron pretty much all day since I got home. I've added a nice little Comebacks section in Rants, be sure to check it out! Honestly.... People come up with the stupidest responses. Of course, this idea kinda IS stupid when you think about it... XD I also pimped up our forum a bit. Let me tell you... I had to search all over the interweb for images, download them, edit/crop/resize them, and then put them on Photobucket... Sounds easy, huh? It gets tiring after the first 10. :) Yes, I like to complain. Anyways, keep on Sora/Troning, people!

Also, I've considered displaying the oh-so-lovely Tron pr0n somewhere.... But where? It's pretty bad for virgin eyes...

Update 1.4: The Sora/Tron fanbase has finally received 1000 hits!

Update 1.3: Our forum only has 9 members... But we've got a strong fanbase! I've added a couple pieces of art to our gallery... I had to delete some old, non Sora/Tron art in order to make room... If we keep growing, we'll need to get premium! I also updated Sora and Tron - Together, Forever and added a lovely new fic by kuza. :) Keep it up, peoples! Only a few more hits to 1000!

Update 1.2: I've added a forum where we can discuss this pairing and other things. You can view it here: http://www.soraandtron.proboards91.com/  It's still in the design phase, but it should do. It's just a proboard, nothing fancy... But we NEED members. So get your rear in gear and get over there! ...Ahem. I'm also adding 3 pieces of art by Soraka-chan (I love you. ). Stay tuned for a few new fan fics as well. Remember to tell all of your friends about this site!

Update 1.1: I've advertised this site and finished the Sora/Tron art I promised. :) You can view it and another new one in the Sora/Tron art section. We've also got ....a lot.... of hits. So stay tuned!

Update 1.0: Errr... Is Update 1.0 an achievement? Ehh... Well, yesterday, I played with a site banner... And of course, DM (to one-up me! nah, I'm kidding), goes off and makes a pretty new picture to put up as a banner! ...But as you can see, some of it has been cut off... So she's redoing it and making our site look ever so more professional! Let's give her a big 'ole round of applause! *cricket*

Update 0.9: Uhh.... I played around with a site picture :D It doesn't look all that great, but hey.... I'll work on it!

Update 0.8: Kuza will be MIA for a while, she's in trouble with her parents. Until then, I'm the head honcho here. I've added a fanfic by Soraka-chan and added a section for rants. I also updated the main page's rant, and put the old rant in the Rants section. I'm thinking about putting the Space Paranoids battle music in that section. Heheheh...

Update 0.7: From now on, all updates by Dark Mythril (moi) will be in cyan, 'kay? We have a BIG ONE! We are at 300 hits already (well, 297 as I'm typing this) and kuza just made this site less than a couple of weeks ago. We have a new and HUGE supporter, Soraka-chan. She has just contributed TONS of art for our gallery, and happens to love this pairing almost as much as me! We've already persuaded a few non-believers, let's shoot for more! Who's with me?!

Update 0.4: Let's all congratulate DM! It was a nice touch, really. But I added a contact page so you can reach me! Yeah, go ahead, spam my mailbox, I dare you.

Update 0.3: (sort of) Hi! Dark Mythril here! I'm the one who proposed the idea of this pairing to kuza and second owner of this site. I added a background of Tron Sora until I can find something decent... People were complaining about how cheesy and unoriginal the site looked, so I had to do SOMETHING... Er, anyways, leave ideas/feedback in the guestbook. I also added a shoutbox. :)

Update 0.2: I have put the midi "Bohemian Rhapsody" on the homepage, so you can listen to SOMETHING, at least. My account won't let me put up a file as large as the Space Paranoids music until the site's been running a week, so I have some waiting. And why this? Because I'm a Queen FREAK!

Update 0.1: I added the fics by me, Dark Mythril, Drekana, and Almighty God of Paper to the site. Look forward to some Space Paranoids music and maybe even some art in the future.
