After 3 years, 3 seasons, 150+ episodes, 4 specials, 3 motion pictures, and prominent airings on Cartoon Network; It is safe to say that Pokemon is doing very well. And with season 12, Pokémon Diamond and Pearl: Galactic Battle beginning Saturday, May 9th at 9:00 AM on CN, it is time for SONVA/SOCC to shut down. The show has found a solid position in Cartoon Network's schedule, where it gets very solid ratings. The actors have settled nicely into their roles, and now have over three years of experience to draw on. The amount of the original BGM kept for the dub has been steadily increasing, and with any luck may someday reach near-perfect preservation of the original score.
At this point, there is no more need for us as an organization.
However, there will always need for fan feedback, so please continue to share your thoughts with The Pokemon Company International (merged from Pokemon USA Inc. and Pokemon UK Inc.), as you see fit.
Thanks to everyone that has contributed to the growth and success of the Pokemon anime, and a special thanks to everyone that has contributed to SOCC.
