She's hot, rich, popular, and yes, even smart, but a slip of the brain causes her to do something she regrets doing - break the arm of Lucas Mercer. Now she has to watch over him, babysit him, and that's the last thing she ever wanted or thought of doing. That is, until he starts to change, and so does she.

                                           

Bailey is the second most popular girl at Suncoast Valley High, next to Sicily of course. The two are best friends, and maybe that's why they share the same personality - well amost. She's blunt and sarcastic and is never afraid to voice her thoughts. She, too, hates Lucas, and like Sicily, she starts to accept him when she sees Sicily's and Lucas' chemistry firsthand.

Vanessa is the third most popular girl at her school, and sometimes, actually often, she feels jealous of Sicily and Bailey being hotter, wealthier, smarter and more wanted. At the start, she just accepts seeing as she can't do anything about it, without risking her reputation, but after a while, she does something she wishes she never did. Not only did she lose friends but also a place in the social ladder.

Zane Lowe is Sicily's best guy friend which is something of significant value since Sicily isn't the type to trust people, but she trusts Zane more than anyone she knows or has ever known, and being her best friend, he makes it a point to always be there for her. He makes her laugh with his crazy antics; He makes her think with how he is always right; and he makes her have a fun approach to life.

Bryce is Suncoast's forever popular player, and how can he not be? Constantly being chased by women from different schools, he has a reputation of breaking hearts. To prove that, he hooks up with Mallory, Sicily's archenemy, and after her, he goes on to another Marina-er. After one night spent together, his life forever changes.

Lucas Mercer is your usual stereotyped jock. He's hot, rich, popular and yes, even smart. Just like Sicily? Hell yeah, and that's why they always argue and fight, with a few profane words and green-minded jokes here and there. She hates him, and he returns that feeling, but after he spends more than enough time with her, his feelings for her start to grow. Who says opposites are the only ones who attract each other?

Zack is Lucas' best friend, and probably, he's the only one that can probably understand him. He has a serious approach to life and acts more mature than his friends and people his age. He has a cold and mysterious exterior that makes him look like a snob to others. That's probably why Sicily doesn't like him that much and feels awkward around him. On his part, he doesn't like Sicily because of the way she treats his friends, like Mallory for example. It takes him time, a long time actualy, to finally accept that he will see her more often than before because she is now part of Lucas' life.

Tanner Fox is one of the most popular guys at Marina del Ray High, and just like any other jock, he loves girls. No wonder he keeps hitting on Sicily. Unfortunately though, Sicily only sees him as a friend. He accepts that, and just brushes it off his shoulders. You can say he's a carefree, happy-go-lucky guy, so it's not a surprise that out of all of Lucas' friends, he's the only one whom Sicily befriends.

Mallory Jacobs is the most popular girl at Marina del Ray High, and if Lucas is to Zane, Sicily is to Mallory. She rules the school, loves the fact that she does, enjoys it and makes the most out of it which are the exact same things Sicily does, and that's why they are always compared. Speaking of the two High School Queens, they share a painful, scandalous past, and because of that, they hate each other with a passion.

Adriana is Mallory's best friend, and though she has a sort-of strong attitude, she is merely a follower in her group, not that she minds anyway. She takes advantage of being part of the most popular group in her school. She is mean to others only because that is what she sees Mallory doing.
