You step easily over a low ridge that blocks the area behind from he area ahead, the gentle greenery growing denser and more wooded as you walk. It doesn't take long for you to notice that these wooded plants are deep, dark reds and hot to the touch. Having by now learned that each change brings on a different creature in this strange land you keep a close watch on everything, expected who knows what to find you. You, however, find them, and just as they come crashing out of a very limb filled bush. The first, deep earth colors and as much a part of the land as can be expected, tumbles head over heels and lands with his face in the burnt looking dirt. The second, even darker, magnificent and obviously unique, comes close to the same fate, saved only by the fact that it's companian acts as a stopper. With a flutter of thier wings they straighten up, eye each other, laugh, and then turn to you, smiles in their eyes and laughter on thier faces.
