**Collars are made with cut ends to the outside, where they cannot irritate sensitive skin or cause mats in longer coats! They are NOT covered webbing, ribbon, or just lined. They are made out of the fabric of your choice, one piece per section. Our new design incorporates 7 folds for stronger, sturdier collar when the fabric allows! **
I started making my collars as I saw a demand for show coats that needed collars that wouldn't contribute to mats. I sent 9 out as test collars, 6 in the US and 3 abroad. Some went to those that tangle and mat easy, and some went to those with sensitive skin. I found that my fabric choices helped allergy prone pups, too! Without a nylon or webbing core, there is nothing left to irritate sensitive skin! All fabric is washed and dried prior to collar construction, for shrinkage and allergies.
Our martingale collars are made with 2 D rings and feature nickle plated hardware. One D ring is for the leash, the other is for tags. If you prefer one D ring, just let me know on the invoice.
Our buckle collars feature a curved side release acetal buckle for extra comfort as well as nickle plated slide and D ring.
