Prayer Page
The S.E.M. prayer team gets together every evening and prays over these requests, because we believe that prayer changes things. This is the confidence that we have in him that if we ask according to his will, he hears us, and we know that if he hears, then we have the petition we ask of him. We firmly believe that God hears and answers prayer, his eyes are over the righteous and his ears are open unto their cries. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth (accomplishes) much! Feel free to share your requests with us and we will help you pray.
Mark 11: 22-24 have faith in God
(God-like faith, quite literally "The faith of God) for verily (truly) I
say unto you, that whosoever shall say unto this mountain, be thou removed and
be cast into the sea, and shall not doubt in his heart, but believe that those
things which he says shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he said.
Therefore I say unto you what things soever you desire (your wants as well as
the things you would need), when you pray, believe that you should recieve
them, and you shall have them.
Please allow me to tell you that this is the same faith that Abraham (the
Father of the faithful) had. Romans 4: 16-18 the
faith of Abraham; who is the father of us all, (as it is written, I have made
you a father of many Nations) before him whom he believed, even God who
quickens the dead and calls thiose things which are not as though they were (as
though they have already happened!) Who against hope, believed in hope, that he
might become the father of many nations, according to that which was spoken.
James 2: 20-26 but wilt
thou know (do you want to know?), O' vain man that faith without works is dead?
Was not Abraham our father justified by works when he offered Isaac his son
upon the alter? See how faith wrought with works and by works faith was made
perfect? And so was the scripture fulfilled which said, "Abraham believed
God, and it was imputed (counted to his credit) unto him for
righteousness", and he was called "the friend of God" So now you
can see then how that by works a man is justified, and not by faith only.
Likewise also was not Rahab "the harlot" justfied by works when she
recieved the messengers, and had sent them out another way? For as the body
without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also.
James 1: 5-8 If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God that gives to
all men liberally and upbraideth not (He does not withold any good thing from
us) and it shall be given him, but let him ask in faith nothing waivering. For
he that waivers is like the wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed
(tossed to and fro with every wave of the sea) let not that man (one who doubts
in his heart) think that he should recieve anything from the Lord. A
double-minded man is unstable in all his ways!
* Please be in prayer for me (your servant O' Lord) I just had a stint placed in my heart for a main artery that 80% blocked...I feel fairly good for a man that could have suffered a massive heart attack! Thank you Lord

Prayer Requests
*Please be in prayer for our oldest Grandson who was involved in a
terrible auto accident and is in critical condition...his name is
Michael. He is suffering with a broken back, a broke neck, and both
legs broken, a fractured skull and his brain is swollen. last evening
his oxygen level was 6 which is very dangerous, however they put a
shunt and drained the blood that was causing the swelling of his
brain...and this morning his oxygen level was 21 Praise God! The
doctors never gave him much hope, but we know the great physician amen?
Also they thought maybe he would be paralyzed, however this morning
they stuck him with needles and he had good reflexes, and wriggled his
toes thank you Lord Jesus! He is not out of the woods yet please keep
him in your every prayer...thank you and may God bless you!
*Please be in constant prayer for my Mother who is a shut in and needs
our prayers for the many health issues that hamper her ability to get
around like she would like to. Thanks and may God bless you for it.
*I had a prayer request given to me from one of my contacts on Yahoo IM
David Freeman needing prayer for a diagnosis of liver cancer...he
desires all of our prayers in Jesus name!
* Topping our prayer list this month October 2009...Please remember Cousin Timothy's family who has just lost a sister
Victoria (another Cousin)...she died last week of a massive heart
attack. They live in Indianapolis, Indiana and desire your prayers for
brother Timothy...who is coming out it slowly, and is able to
communicate somewhat with blinking his eyes and hand gestures. He will
also have to learn to walk again.
*Topping
our prayer list is prayer for the Brock family as well as all other
family of Sister Boyles (Jerry's Mother) who passed on Tuesday June
2nd *The Church has sent our condolences and a nice commemorative
picture for the Brocks to take home. We are praying for you Jerry and
Peggy...we love ya! (update 10-2009) Brother Jerry has passed three weeks after Mom Boyles July 23rd 2009 also Sister Peggy lost a grandchild one week after Jerry passed, so the family desires your prayers...please.
*Sister Garland's Nephew is also needing urgent
prayer, he is currently on life support and in ICU. (update: June 10th
he went on home to be with Jesus, just a few short days after being
hospitalized).
*Brother Doug is still needing prayer for some tests
they ran on him this past week...but he won't know any results from the
test till Monday or Tuesday...Doug is doing fine, just some asthma and
he is on an inhaler.
*We still haven't heard from Billy or Patty
Shelton...if we knew where they lived we would go visit them
personally. (their phone is still off)
*We were given a request for
an 74 year old mother who is facing open heart surgery next week, her
name is Betty Fletcher. I'm sure there are other needs, but these are
the ones we are aware of , such as the standing prayer we have always
for Sister Gibson. Her condition seems to be getting worse instead of
getting better. She has bad days and good days.
*Also still
remembering the families of Sister Lee who passed a few weeks ago...we
need to keep each other in prayer especially those who have lost loved
ones.
* Please be in prayer for brother
Jerry Brock who is having a battle with a liver condition without saying the "C" word; he needs a liver transplant, so please be a special intercessor on
his behalf. There will be a benefit singing for brother Jerry at Shop Ville
Park July 25th starting at
12 noon and going till 6pm all proceeds will be going to the "Brocks" for
incurring medical expenses.
* Much prayer is also needed overseeing the building of our
new Church, we must pray that it is seen through to completion just as God
would design.
* Betty Fletcher, who had open-heart surgery earlier this
week, desires our prayers.
* Sister Linda Whittaker would like for us to remember her
sister and granddaughter in prayer and two friends that are battling cancer.
* Brother Jay Fox a personal of friend of Chuck and Phyllis'
was bitten by a copperhead snake and had to have his leg amputated, Jay is a
fine Singer, and Recording Artist he is currently in a medically induced coma
and expected to be under for at least three more weeks. Please be in prayer for
Jay and his wife Kathy and their family.
* Phyllis' sister Rosemary has gotten worse lately, and
would like for us to remember her in prayer.
* Let us remember our revival coming up, pray also for our
evangelist Billy Bryant.
* Continue to remember Sister
Sharon (Shorty) Napier who is still in the hospital for a bit of staff
infection that is doing much better and thanks all of us for our
prayers...so there was a praise report along with the request. AMEN?
* Also
on our hospital rounds this week, Sister Linda's Sister Treva who has
been incapacitated since a really bad car wreck some years ago and has
spent most of the time at Brithaven nursing facility in Somerset. Was
on a ventilator, and "now is doing much better" is what Linda told us
Wednesday afternoon. She has been taken off the ventilator and has been
moved from ICU into TCU! Thank you Lord Jesus! He is such a wonderful
Savior, Redeemer/Healer!
* Please continue to be in prayer for Mom (Sister
Gibson) also Phyllis' sister Rosemary who has been struggling with
health issues of late.
Join us in praying for a new place of
worship (a new building) we are looking, with God's help we will find
the right place! His will done in all that we do amen?
* Let us continue to pray for our revival coming up June 25-28 with Evangelist: Billy Bryant.Topping the prayer list this month is Brother Chuck who
had a stint placement, two weeks ago Monday, but preached for us
Thursday night (two days after being released from the hospital!). He
is now at home resting and will remain off from work until April 9th.
Brother
Jerry has been hospitalized again with a mandatory surgery on his
Kidney's and had multiple stones...two of which required immediate
surgery. We are happy to report that the surgery went well, and some
other complications that arose while in the hospital are now cleared up
as well, but now is having to maybe go back in for fluid that has
formed on his lungs. He desires all our prayers on some other tests
that were run on him while there, and Sister Peggy as well, who turned
in a very special unspoken request.
Pray
for all those who have left the Church for one reason or another...let
us pray they are in Church somewhere and are found in the center of
God's perfect will.
Curtis,
Sister Jenny's husband will be having another back surgery coming up
March 17th, everyone who is able call and check on them.
Let us all
show love toward another, he/she that does not love, does not know God
(and like wise is not known of God) for God is love. That is how the
world knows that we have passed from death unto life, because we love
the brethren. He/she that loves God, loves his brother/Sister too. How
can we love God whom we have not seen, if we can not love our brother
whom we have seen? We must be long-suffering toward one another (love
suffers long (puts up with a whole lot), is kind and patient...read 1 Corinthians 13)
He/She who loves his/her brother/sister loves God, there are many, many
more scriptures I could add, but I will leave it all for a message some
time or another. It is one thing to preach a message...it quite another
thing to live the message you preach!
*My brother's Rick and Eugene Gibson and their wives...my sister-in-laws Judy and Helen Gibson...

My brother Raymond still needs much prayer after an operation on his
neck to relieve the pressure against his spine. He had the operation
two weeks ago and has since had a set back and is experiencing terrible
headaches.
*For all those who have been saved so far this year at The ARC that
they get rooted and grounded in sound doctrine, being fruitful and
bring forth some 30% (fold) some 60% and some who will eventually be
able to produce 100% Thank you Lord Jesus!
*Baby
Hunter who has had two separate operations for brain cancer, please
take this baby upon your hearts...and pray for him as often as you
pray...Update I have been asked to share a picture of Baby Hunter and I
will try and do this a.s.a.p.
* Our good brother (in the Lord, however he looks so much like me some have mistaken him for me lucky guy 
)
Evangelist Jerry Brock who has undergone open heart surgery and cheated
death, one doctor told him and I quote "should have been a dead man"
thanks be unto God for His mercy and unmerited grace! We are praying
for you my brother please have a speedy recovery. Jerry is another one
of my left-handed guitar picking buddies...also be in prayer for his
sister (bio) June who was rushed to the hospital last night complaining
of chest pain.
*Topping the prayer list for this month is my
2 year old granddaughter who has suffered a terrible fireworks accident and
received 2nd and 3rd degree burns over 75% of her little
body L please be in prayer also
for my ex-wife Sue who was holding the baby at the time they will both undergo
skin graft surgery later on this month.
*My Son
Chad needs prayer, as well as my oldest granddaughter Cierra both had surgery
this month. Chad had his nose re-broken and set, and poor Ciera had her tonsils
and adenoids taken out and tubes put in her ears all in one surgery! Bless her
heart�they were both side by side in the recovery room, it was quite an
experience for sure! J
*Evangelist
Jerry Brock who just had open heart surgery and is recovering well at home. It
has been touch and go with brother Jerry but, he is still with us. Friday 7/10/
he will have to have his heart stopped and started again, to get it back into a
normal rhythm pattern.
*Sister Dora who has been diagnosed with a
tumor on one of her kidneys and it will have to be removed. The doctor told her
husband Doug that if they can save the kidney they would�she goes for further
tests this week. Update 7/08 Sister Dora has had the kidney removed because the
tumor contained 100% cancer�she is recovering well from the surgery.
*My brother
Raymond has had some serious surgery on his neck (an old injury) and is
bothering him quite a bit. Update Ray is doing much better and wants to thank
everyone who prayed for him.
* Sister Dora asks that all of us keep her in our prayers, early last month she had a diseased kidney removed which full of cancer...the kidney could not be saved, but thanks be unto God that they believe they got it all and there is no need for radiation treatments, and no kind of dialysis required!
*Please be in prayer for our former pastor and good friend, Fetter Wilder who is recovering from a serious heart attack. (after undergoing extensive by-pass surgery). also pray with the family for a speedy recovery.
*Please be in prayer for the Trimble family that lost their mother, Mary was a Christian so we are sure she is now with the Lord (because to be absent from this body is to be present with the Lord)
* We are praying for Doug Worley who broke two ribs when he fell onto some cinder blocks. Remember Doug for the surgery to remove the galbladder which was successful, also a collasped lung..which was repaired.
* Please remember Zach and Nicki Gill who lost their baby girl Madison. May the Lord help them with their grief. We commend them on their decision not to abort baby Madison and chose rather to give birth to little baby Madison who lived only a short hour and twenty minutes and will be missed.
* Please be in prayer for the Meredeth family who is keeping vigil around the clock at their daddy's bedside at UK hospital in Lexington, Ky. Brother Ellis needs our prayers as his kidneys have shut down and is on life support. Lord we need a miracle on this one. *Update Brother Ellis has since succomed to the illness that threatened his life and has gone to be with his Lord.
*Hello prayer partners, please pray for the Rose family who lost their Dad, more than a Dad; a friend. Marvin and Margie Rose who are the former Pastor (and his wife) of The Seven Oaks Baptist Church and are close friends. God bless and keep y'all!
* Mom Gibson; who recently went through major surgery, and is still recovering. Update 1/2/06 Mom has been released from her doctor and is doing well, except that now she is suffering with some terrible headaches and would like everyone to remember her in prayer. Update 2/02/06 Mom has undergone some emergency surgery, the surgery itself was a success but the recovery process is going to take time. Please pray for my mother she is 69 and don�t need any more of these surgeries. Update 2/14/06 Mom is home and recuperating from her recent surgery, she is in a lot of pain however. I am so afraid I will soon lose her if the Lord doesn�t heal her completely.
*Rosemary Goff (Phyllis' sister) who is facing another surgery for a tumor on her back, we are praying against any type of cancer. Update 12/05 the tumor on Rosemary�s back is a fatty tumor and it doesn�t have to be removed unless she requests it! Praise the good Lord! Rosemary is not doing well; she says she is tired and just wants to go home. Please pray that God will have his way in her life. Rosemary needs our prayers again, as she has a 60 % blockage on the left side of her heart. Doctors are treating it with medication...no stints needed...thank the Lord.
Danny Ray Jennings desires your prayers for a spot on his lung. Update 12/05 Danny is still suffering with his condition, however it is not cancer! They (The doctor�s) say that perhaps there is a rib out of place or maybe there is a possibility of an extra rib that has formed? Update 6/14/06 Danny is undergoing therapy for the problem. Danny is doing very well and thanks us for our prayers (all of our prayer partners).
*Please pray for the little missionary church we are currently working with in Monticello KY. For our Pastor (My Dad) and all the congregation. Sister Bonnie, all the new converts we have had 8 people who made a decision for Christ hallelujah!!! Ray and kim, Jonathan, Michael,Sammy, Mary (his wife for salvation also) Chad, Beth and their six children...Krista,Cierra, Lexis, Jayden, Chadboy, and Jessica, Amanda ( her daughter Felicia who is facing kidney surgery, also salvation for her husband Robert and son Andrew) Betty and Shiela (and their husbands Carlos and Frank which are brothers) also Miss Amber, Christina, Sister Paula (for her children and their friends who desperately need Jesus! Sister Mary Merideth and Dad Ellis (brother Ellis has now passed as of 2007), and we must not forget our precious dear friend Sister Eileen. We love y'all very much!

Vince has passed I helped to officiate the funeral, and three persons were saved, we are praying that, Vince had a chance to make things right between him and the good Lord before his appointment. please remember Coty his son, also the Patterson family.
Brother Billy�s Dad is still recovering from a bad automobile accident.(Update 11/06) Brother Billy's dad has gone on to be with Jesus after succumbing to injuries received
Rankin, Charlie's son needs salvation and healing in the name of Jesus.
Anita Atkinson is scedueled for brain surgery and would like for us to remember her in prayer.
(Update 8/06) Anita did not have to have the surgery the cancer disappeared, and the
doctors are very skeptical 
Bobby Alley is back in the hospital with carbon dioxide poisoning, and needs a pace maker
put into his heart please keep him in your prayers. (Update 11/06) Brother Bobby is now under
hospice care and if the Lord does not move on his behalf he will cross on over "Chilly Jordan"
Update 01/03/07 Bobby has passed and took the journey to meet the one who saved him by
His grace. Prayer for the family is much desired.
Wanda Pierson; sister Dees sister needs our prayers they have given her a bad report on her health
and if the Lord does not move they will lose her. Update 6/3/06 Wanda has gone on to be with Jesus,
after the loss of her brother Everrit, so let's continue to pray for the family who has now lost two
loved ones in one week.
Wayne Sweeny needs prayer. Update 7/2/06 He was just recently saved, however he is very
sick with a liver diease.
Barbara Wright; Paul and Tommy's half sister needs our prayer.
James has cirosis of the liver and needs to be healed completely in Jesus name!
Jennifer Riddle pray that she will make the right decisions concerning being yoked together
with an unbeliever.
Jamie Hall bitten by a tick and is being treated for lime disease. My brother died from Rocky Mountain spotted fever when he was 6 years old, of course they can do more for it now, so please be in prayer about this.
Sammy Bell has diabetes and is not saved

and for salvation, and again for the right job that the Lord has for her.

me and my family financial. God knows who they are and we pray that God would move according
to His will upon this need, amen!

that her health will improve and also remember their financial needs.
*Ruth Colyer is in a nursing home and wants to go home, but there are some medical
problems which hinder her from doing that, let us pray that God will heal her
completely in Jesus name!
*Helen White (Sister Doris' Mother-in-law) needs a desperate healing or she
will depart from us early and she will be greatly missed. She is on a ventilater
and has had surgery to open up her airway, so she can breath.
(update 4/21/07) Sister White is out of the hospital and recovering nicely.
Doris would like to thank you for all your prayers!
*A prayer requests I have failed to add to our prayer list here and that is
everywhere else that we have a list of prayer needs, is that Mark Simpson
(Vic and Wanda's son) is in a catatonic state and the doctors has pronounced
him to be brain-dead, we know that the doctors do not have the last say in these
matters, amen? Please be praying for him and all the Simpson family, Vic himself
desires our prayers for his illness.

Mark has passed on please be in prayer for our dear friends Vic and Wanda Simpson
and their family as they learn to cope with their loss.
* A request was left for David Wolf who had to undergo some heart surgery,
a stint was placed and he is recovering nicely, however he still desires
our prayers.
*Please pray for Sue Hyde, she has been in a lot of
pain lately. Arthritis and fibromyalgia mixing with the
cold weather, it has not treated her very well. She is also
alergic to all the good meds for her situation.But Praise the Lord,
by His stripes she is healed.
*I pray for my family--Susie and her family-----My prayer
goes out to all who do not know the lord---In him all things
are possible.I pray our home will
sell soon---Prayer for my family in Illinois.Always
remember to stay in his word..
