           Prayers and One-Liners

 

 Father God, we pray that you take us right now into your holy of holies. Take us in by the blood of Lamb. Bring us Lord God into your presence, and we will enter your gates with thanksgiving, and we enter your courts with praise. Cleanse our lips with the fire and the anointing of the Holy Ghost.

 Lord, make my tongue as the pen of a ready writer. When I open the Bible dear Lord, open my heart also that I may receive. Give me rest for my mind, peace in my soul, and joy in my heart.

   *I have given God control of my life, because he is the only one qualified enough to control me; he knows me better than I know myself.

 *Time spent with the Lord is time well spent.

·        When we have nothing left but Christ, we find that Christ is enough! 

·        I will take up my cross, deny myself and share the splinters.

·        He is rich who is satisfied with what has given.

·        Rest in the Lord and wait patiently on Him.

·        Each human soul is like a pod filled with abundant seeds of possibilities waiting to spring forth.

·        The Bible will keep you from sin, or sin will keep you from the Bible.

·        Self-will hinders God’s will and His work in your life!

·        I find myself challenged by Jesus’ question to Peter “ Do you love me more than these?” (The things of the world)

·        Gratitude is a good attitude to cultivate.

·        Life’s adversities met by faith can be opportunities for God to perform His will in our lives.

·        Each human beings claim to uniqueness derives not only from who each of us are, but even more importantly it derives from who each one can yet become.

·        The closer you are to God, the more you’ll have a heart for people.
