  2Cor. 9:15 Thanks be unto God for his unspeakable gift! (The giftof God (salvation) is indescribable) There are not adequate words to describethe feeling that the love of God sheds abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost!It’s joy unspeakable, it’s full of Glory, it’s down in my heart to stay, it isa peace that surpasses all understanding, wonderful beyond description!

 JN. 3:16 God so loved the world (which means that he loved us andthe world so very much!) That he gave his only begotten son (He gave all thathe had, the best gift, the gift of his only begotten son) (the only one of hiskind “the first fruits” from the dead, a very unique and special gift!) Theother place you will find the word begotten is when God told Abraham to takethe life of his only begotten son. Abraham had many other children, yet Godcalled Isaac his only begotten, and I believe it to be because, Isaac was atype and shadow of Jesus Christ and the sacrifice that he also gave. Thatwhosoever would believe on him should not perish, but have thegift of everlasting life! That precious gift was wrapped in swaddlingclothes lying in a manger! They called his name Emmanuel, “Which beinginterpreted, means God with us” The King of Kings the Lord of Lords, the Wordof God became flesh and dwelt among us and we beheld His glory as the onlybegotten of the Father full of grace and truth!

 The wages of sin is death, but the gift of God honey iseternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord! *1JN. 5:11&12 “This is therecord, that God has given to us eternal life, and this life is in his son. Hethat has the son has life; and he that has not the Son of God has no life inhim. If you do not believe on him the source of life, you live in condemnationand the curse of death abides on you! If you should die and go to a Devil’shell (which was reserved for the Devil and the fallen Angels) it will becauseyou have earned your way there! Go right ahead and say to your self this crazypreacher don’t know what he’s talking about. Don’ let Satan deceive you myfriend. What I tell you is the truth and the truth will make you free fromevery lie the enemy of your soul would try to tell you! What I tell you is theWord of God. O’ listen the good news is that a Son was born, and a child wasgiven, the gospel, the good tidings of great joy, which to all people, has comethat you might escape the death sentence that has been pronounced upon yourexistence, through faith in the gift of God! He came that we might have lifeand that we might have it more abundantly (an abundance of God’s richestblessings which brings about a better quality of life!)

 * James the Lord’s brother told us,“That every good and perfect gift comes down from the Father of lights” It isfrom above that all blessings flow, with whom there is no variableness  (no respect of persons, which means thereare no varying degrees of God’s love toward you. He loves you as much as heloves the president of the United States! There is no shadow of turning withGod. He is consistent and faithful in all that he does. There are no grayareas; in him there is no darkness at all. *In him was light and that light became the life for all of humanity. His lifehere upon this earth, gave us light so that we might see through the darknessof this world and not stumble around in the darkness of our sin! If we walk inthe light as he is in the light, then we have fellowship one with another.Light has come, but men love the darkness rather than light!

 *EPH. 4:8 says, “that when he ascended upon high, he led captivity captive and gave giftsunto men” Jesus said, “It is much more blessed to give than to receive. Thereare many precious promises associated with the gift that we have been given.

 *Other gifts given to men

Isaiah9:2, 6 Light “the people that walked indarkness have seen a great light: they that dwell in the land of the shadow ofdeath, upon them hath the light shined. We have been promised light as part ofthe gift bestowed upon us. “The light is the life of men” (VS. 6) for unto us aSON is born, unto us a child is given: and the government shall be upon hisshoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counselor, The mighty God,The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace. All the promises of God are in him(Jesus) yea and amen. Peace and Joy is among those gifts…with joy we can watersfrom the wells of salvation! Peace Jesus said I give unto you….not as the worldgives, the world can’t give it and the world sure can’t take away!

 *He has given us His gift of grace, and we live in what is now called the gracedispensation. Which means that God has made a deposit into this world throughthe gift of his son. The question was asked some two thousand years ago, and isstill asked of you today. “ What are you going to do the man called Jesus? Hehas given us mercy, and has shown us what true love is all about. Mercy is tograce, what justice is to punishment. When punishment is rendered we sayjustice has been served, but when justice called for the payment for sin mercycame on the scene gave us the gift of grace which justified us in the sight ofGod (just as if we had never sinned) That is what justification is all about!Now what do you think of the gift?

 Tell me, how would you feel if you offered someone theultimate gift, the gift of life. Let’s say it was lifesaving surgery and youoffered somebody one of your lungs, and they absolutely refused the operation.How stupid would that be? Think of the rejection God feels every time yourefuse his gift he has so freely gave! Rejection is such a terrible thing, yethe came to his own and his own received him not. Will you accept God’s gifttoday or will you just harden your heart against him? It’s your choice, andthere are multitudes in the valley of decision. With the New Year approachingyou can have a brand new life in the coming years. Quite literally this couldbe the first day of the rest of your life.

 How will it be neighbor? A sinner isborn once and dies twice (one a natural death, the second death is the lake offire) The Christian however is born twice and never dies, because death is onlyconsidered sleep! How is it with your soul? You must receive the gift of God,and then share it with others. You cannot be ashamed of the gift of God. For ifyou are ashamed of me Jesus said, I will be ashamed of you, and if you do notconfess me before men then I cannot confess you before my Father, or all theholy Angels. So we can consider this gift as a chain, the kind of gift that youpass along to others. Has anyone ever received chain mail? You pass it on withthe promise that you as well as others will be blessed.

 Today isthe day of salvation, now is the accepted time. Tomorrow may be too late;tomorrow you may not be acceptable to God! Ever think about that? Today if you hear his voice harden not your hearts as theydid in the days of provocation in the wilderness, when they tempted God. Cometo Jesus right now don’t put it off any longer please, I plead with you.

 Acts 24:10-25; Paul before Felix the governor

 Acts 26: 12-28 Paul tells King Agrippa about his conversion 

    God told Ananias arise and go into the street called straight,and inquire in the house of Judas for one called Saul. Ananias began to reasonwith the lord, saying Lord I have heard evil things about this man, but thelord said unto him, Go! (Capitol G) thy way for he is a chosen vessel unto me,to bear my name before the gentiles, and kings, and the children of Israel. Iwill show him how great things he must suffer for my namesake!

  In Paul’s defense he reasoned with Felix the governor of Rome aboutrighteousness, temperance, and of judgment to come. The Bible says that Felixhaving more perfect knowledge of that way, knowledge without love will puff up,and does not edify! (The devils also believe and tremble) *(some otherconvenient time) (Some will keep putting it off till it’s too late) Isaiah1:18-20 Come now, and let us reason together, saith the LORD:  (To reach a logical conclusion of thematter) (To which the preacher of Ecclesiastes said, “let us hear theconclusion of the whole matter, most people make a decision before they hearall the facts, fear God and keep his commandments) though your sins be asscarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, theyshall be as wool. If (a pivotal word) ye be willing and obedient, ye shall eatthe good of the land: But (another pivotal word) if ye refuse and rebel,ye shall be devoured with the sword: for the mouth of the LORD hath spoken it.There is the fear of God in a nutshell. Tell me please where is the fear of Godin today’s society?

  Joel 3:14 said, “There are multitudes in the valley of decision” God’sSpirit striving against mans will about making “the decision” Just as Joshua(who was a type of Christ Yashewa) The Jews had strayed from God, so Joshuarehearsed the whole matter to the congregation. He said, “Now therefore fearthe Lord (Which by the way is the beginning of wisdom!) And serve him insincerity and in truth (sound familiar? God is a Spirit, and he must beworshipped in Spirit and in truth) And put away the gods which your fathersserved on the other side of the flood, and in Egypt and serve ye the Lord,choose this day whom ye will serve” Don’t turn him away my friend (Pleasedecide he has given you the freedom of choice) Just as the Holy Ghost is saying“today if you hear his voice, harden not your hearts as they did in the days ofprovocation, in the day of temptation in the wilderness. The children of Israelchallenged God’s authority over them by their rebellious ways. (Which is thesame sin as witchcraft!) No wonder the Bible refers to them as the childrenthat never grew up! (Another message)

  King Agrippa was so moved by Paul’s defense that he was almostpersuaded, like the song says, “Almost persuaded Christ to receive, go spirit,go thy way, till some other convenient day” Today is the day of salvation,behold now is the accepted time, seems to indicate that tomorrow it could bethat you will not be acceptable to god! Don’t believe that? Better readProverbs 1: 24-27 so that you will know the truth and the truth will make youfree.

  Paul was testifying of his conversion and mounting his defense beforeKing Agrippa. However the King thought that maybe, “much learning” had made hima mad man. Religious folks thought that Jesus was beside himself. So you see, Idon’t mind if someone calls me crazy or a fanatic. Paul said I am a fool for Christ’ssake! Myself I’d rather be a fool for him, than a fool for the devil anytime!

  The title of the message “Almost Persuaded” is taken from RO. 14:5 “Letevery man be fully persuaded in his own mind” Allow me to stop right there andtell you what God has told me. He told me that hell would be full of people whowere almost persuaded!

  The weeping prophet Jeremiah pleaded with the people to seek out the oldpath wherein is the good way and walk therein, but the children of Israelrebelled and said, “We will not walk therein”

  1cor. 1:18 “The preaching of the cross is to them that perish a bunch offoolishness, but to us who are saved it is the power of God that bringssalvation! As a matter of fact (FYI) it pleased God by the foolishness ofpreaching, to save those that would believe (have faith in the plan ofsalvation) in the death, burial, and resurrection of Christ. To trust him tolead you and guide you in the paths of righteousness for his namesake, it’s theRomans road as described in Ro.10: 9&10. 

  Now listen real close to what I am going to say next. If you haven’theard anything else I’ve been saying, please (I plead with you) Faith cometh byhearing and hearing by the word of God. How can you hear without a preacher?However the natural man, the person that is almost persuaded, such as was KingAgrippa, someone who is not born of the Spirit of God cannot receive the thingsof God, because it is foolishness to him. Neither can he know them, becausethey are spiritually discerned (understood) 1cor. 2:6-15. Jesus said, “No mancometh unto me except the Spirit draw him”

  This gospel that I now proclaim is understood by divine revelation. Howabout it friend? Do you feel the Spirit of God drawing you to a place ofrepentance? Jesus said, “Behold (When he says this he is asking you to considerwhat he is about to say) I stand at the door and I knock, if anyone would hearmy voice and open unto me, I will come in. It is by invitation that we open ourhearts to him; he will not stand and beat down the door to our hearts. If younoticed he was not only knocking, he was talking, if you would hear his voiceharden not your hearts, because today might be the day when he will save yoursoul. Don’t stay in that valley of decision too long, and miss out with God!

  Pray this prayer with me, dear God, I come to you asking yourforgiveness. I have rebelled against you long enough, as your prodigal childI’m coming home, never more to roam. I accept the Spirit’s invitation; I hearthe knock at my hearts door, right now I open unto you Jesus, please come-on inand sup with me. I believe you died for my sins and you arose the third day togive me victory over sin. I am persuaded right now that those things, which Icommit into your hands, even my soul, mind, body and spirit, you are able tokeep against that day in Jesus name, thank you Lord.

Psalm 127:1 ?Except the Lord build the house, they labor in vain that build it!?

  Any good builder knows that you need a firm foundation to build upon. 1 Corinthians 3:11 for other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ! Paul told Timothy, ?that the foundation of God stands sure (Stands firm, it will never wax old, it will never crumble beneath their feet) having this seal (We have been sealed till the day of redemption by the Holy Spirit of promise) the Lord knows those who are his, and (In conjunction with that) let everyone names the name of Christ (That professes to know him) let them depart from iniquity.

  We are laborers together with God ?God works with us to build upon this foundation? because we are God?s building, that is according to the grace that is given to us as master builders! Right now, this moment; just a spec of time in all eternity, I am laying out for you a foundation, the doctrine of Jesus Christ and him crucified and another builds upon it, but let every man take heed how he builds upon it!

  Isaiah 28:16 ?Therefore thus says the Lord God, behold (Look into this and consider what I am about to say) I lay in Zion (Zion refers to the church) for a foundation, a stone, the rock that the church is built upon. Jesus told us, ?The gates of hell shall never prevail against his church.? He?s the tried stone!  Which means that he?s been proven to be the only one that has withstood the test of this life and came out on the winning side! A precious stone, more precious than any other precious stone known to man! Diamonds, rubies; walls of jasper and gates of pearl do not compare to his deity!

  Eph. 2:20 we are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief cornerstone, in whom all the building fitly framed together, grows unto an holy temple in the Lord (In whom? In him, abiding in the vine) ye also are built together (As the body of Christ) for a habitation (A place for God to dwell) the building of God! Unto you then who believe he is precious but unto them which be disobedient, he is the stone that the builders disallowed (rejected!). He came to his own but his own received him not, (He was never allowed to become the foundation on which to build), The same is made the head of the corner!

  The second most important thing that a good builder knows is, that a building has to be fitly framed. You have to have a straight corner to go by! If you want sturdy structure, it must be designed to certain specifications! We have that pattern in Christ! Titus 2:7 in all things showing thyself a pattern of good works: in doctrine showing uncorrupt ness, gravity, and sincerity. God has given us a plumb line so that might keep a straight path for our feet. Amos 7:8 what do you see? And I said, a plumb line. Then said the Lord, Behold, I will set a plumb line in the midst of my people. What I?m saying is we have a blueprint to go by, but many will not read the Basic Instructions Before Leaving Earth (The Bible!)

   To most he has become a stone of stumbling, and a rock of offence. Jesus offended them. (I may offend you, I don?t know) Religious folks cannot stand the truth, so they heaped to themselves, teachers having itching ears, who have changed the truth of God into a bunch of lies! Fables and fairytales, which cannot be believed by anyone! One day this rock is going to fall on them and they will be crushed. Let God be the truth, and every man a liar!

  This message is coming to you on the heels of a hellish decision to allow same sex marriages! What kind of world are we living in folks come on! God created Adam and Eve, not Adam and Steve! God calls it an abomination and destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah over it! Psalm 9:17 ?the wicked shall be turned into hell, and all nations that forget God? People have we forgotten God? The one who has blessed this great nation?

  Proverbs 14:34 Righteousness is what exalts a nation, but sin and perversion is a reproach, something that brings with it shame and disgrace to any people, believers and unbelievers alike. God sends his rain (showers of blessings) on the just and the unjust, (that is exactly what this country has enjoyed since being founded in 1692) now someone wants to change that? If a man (Or a nation) does not stand for something he?s bound to fall for anything!

  In these last days in which we live (Which started by the way on the day of Pentecost) God himself has sent strong delusion. 2 Thessalonians 2:11&12   and for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness. As the old country preacher would say, ?there?s a lot of game up that holler!? That people who would believe the lie would be damned? The strong delusion I believe to be the view of secular humanism, which says, do whatever feels good, as long as you?re not hurting someone your OK, I?m OK, everything is fine and dandy, what a bunch of dung! Jesus said, every tree that does not bring forth good fruit is hewn down and cast into the fire! He preached more about hell than he did about heaven. As John the Baptist exclaimed, O? generation of vipers, who hath warned you to flee from the wrath to come? Bring forth fruit meet (Fit!) fruit that is worthy to be repented of! The ax is laid to the root of the tree! God?s word is quick and powerful, sharper than any two edged sword, and it will soon be applied to root of this nation, and it will be completely, and utterly devoured by the word that proceeds from the mouth of the Lord!

 Too much information, ok then back to our scripture verse. Psalm 127:1 Except the Lord build the house, they labor in vain that build it! This tells me, that without the Lord, no one can build a suitable household! (See also Matthew 7:24) matter of fact Jesus tells us in St. John 15:5 ?without me you can do nothing!? but through Christ we can do all things, because he gives us the strength to do so. That?s paraphrased of course, but means the same thing.

  I?ll tell you something right here that might set well with a lot of you. Anyone can build a house, but it takes God to make it a home! Just as any man can be a biological father to his children, without ever being a real daddy to them! By the same token any of you woman can mother a child, but it takes a woman of special virtue (character) to be a mom. Wise men and women seek after God; they seek his advice, they go to him in prayer, and ask (Ask, seek and knock) they push (Pray until something happens) they ask for his council, they seek for his direction, for his will to be done in their life!

  A house or a community divided against it self can never stand is what Jesus said. God has called men to be watchmen over their homes and over their cities. Real men stand for what is right! America is great, because God has blessed this nation with Godly men who have the backbone to say, ?In God we trust? The devil and his kingdom has launched an all-out attack on that slogan that was adopted in 1956. The devil knows he can never defeat us as long as we have God fearing men and women, who will speak out against evil, and call sin what it is. When the enemy comes in like a flood, (Of doubt and confusion, of sin and perversion) the Spirit of God will raise up the standard of God?s holiness and the righteousness, God will be the banner over us, Jehovah Nissi!

  United we stand, divided we will fall, another Biblically based motto. Satan?s battle plan is simple, divide and conquer! He wants to bring division in your home; he wishes to put you at odds with your spouse, and with your children, to cause doubt and mistrust, to confuse you with the lies he has told you. He is the master of deceit and the father of lies! He was a murderer from the beginning, and he has never been able to abide in the truth! He?s the enemy of your soul, and a destroyer of lives. He came to kill, steal and to destroy, but Jesus said, I am (The Lord God Adonis) has come that you might have life, and have it more abundantly (Which means that he brings about a better quality of life!) That?s right you devil I?m letting the world know through this vessel and this media, that you came to destroy all that is good, all that is pure, perfect and holy! But your king is a defeated kingdom, because it divided against itself! You may be the god of this world, but we are not of this world! We are chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, and a peculiar people, that we should show forth the praises of him who have called us out of darkness into his marvelous light!

  Jesus asked the disciples, ?Who do men say that I am? They were undecided, they hem-hawed around by saying, well some say that thou art John the Baptist, some Elias and others Jeremiah, or one of the prophets. Jesus said basically ok, now who do you say that I am? Simon Peter answered and said Thou art the Christ, the son of the Living God! This was ?The Great Confession? and upon this divine revelation, Christ said, I will build his church, and the gates of hell could not prevail against it! I?m not out to bash anyone, but rather to reconcile my brethren. If I fail to warn, and you should die in your sin, then as a watchman, your blood could be required at my hand! God did not build his church on man, it?s not built on traditions, by having your name on the church book or by shaking the preachers hand it takes more than just being baptized (Going down a dry sinner and coming up a wet one!) Buddha cannot save you, hare?-Krishna and all of his karma won?t get the job done; Mohammad was a misguided soul, who tried to find God, and founded a doctrine of hate and indifference.  It takes being a lively stone in the building, not just another brick in the wall of yesterday?s spiritual experience! Some dried up, whited wall, shallow and void of understanding. Cleaning up the outside of the suplucre, but on the inside we are full of nothing but dead men?s bones! You must be built up as a spiritual house, in offering up spiritual sacrifices, acceptable unto God by Jesus Christ!

    I want to wrap this up with focusing on the home. As I have already stated, it takes special men and women of God with spiritual fortitude to make a house a home. Not just a house built in vain. I?m saying that a home is a place where there is joy unspeakable and full of glory, and the peace of God that passeth all understanding abides there!

  Now we know and understand 1Cor. 7:14 that says, the unbelieving husband is sanctified by the believing wife, and the unbelieving wife is sanctified by the believing husband (vice-versa) else were your children unclean, now they are holy! But how can two walk together the Bible says, unless they can be in agreement? The cord of three strands is not so easily broken. The circle of two, hand in hand with Jesus, we are not to be unequally yoked together with unbelievers. You young people pay close attention to what I am about to say right here, especially if you old enough to consider marriage. You need to know the person you want to marry. A good moral person can still die and go to a lake of fire, and that blessed union you seek will be shattered forever! You need to find a God-fearing, Jesus loving, devil chasing, Holy Ghost filled child of God, and have a blessed life, not one that is accursed, and filled with misery and despair.

  Allow me to add this (which is actually part of another message the Lord has given me on agreement, and disagreement) agreement brings blessing and power; it promotes unity within the family structure. Remember earlier in this message I told you that Satan?s plan is to divide and conquer? Why so much divorce? There is division in the home! The devil?s worst nightmare is agreement, he knows that when two would agree as touching one thing, it shall be done for them of our Father. One believer can put a thousand evil spirits to flight, two can put ten thousand back to the pits of hell where they came from!

  Do you really want to hear the truth what God has dropped into my spirit? The trouble with the family that Christ has been left out of the arrangements the man is no longer the head of the household, wives do not obey their husbands, and children are disobedient to their parents. Since we have allowed prayer to be taken out, schools have become demilitarized zones.

  This country is in trouble because of weak compromising men who would like to label themselves as Christians, and are no more than clouds without water Jude the brother of Jesus pulled no punches, he said they are carried about by winds (other peoples hot air) trees whose fruit has withered, without fruit they are twice dead and should be plucked up by it?s roots.

  Come-on people if a man cannot rule his own house, how can he rule the house of God? The gays and the lesbians speak evil of those things they know not! But, what they know naturally as brute beasts, in those things they corrupt themselves. I?m not into gay bashing either; we are called to love the unlovable. It?s the sin I?m preaching against. God hates sin, but he loves the sinner.

  2 Timothy 3:1-7 Perilous times have come, these are the last days, and these are the symptoms of a house divided!    

2 Corinthians 5: 1-11 1For we know that if our earthly house of this tabernacle were dissolved, we have a building of God, an house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens. 2For in this we groan, earnestly desiring to be clothed upon with our house which is from heaven: 3If so be that being clothed we shall not be found naked. 4For we that are in this tabernacle do groan, being burdened: not for that we would be unclothed, but clothed upon, that mortality might be swallowed up of life. 5Now he that hath wrought us for the selfsame thing is God, who also hath given unto us the earnest of the Spirit. 6Therefore we are always confident, knowing that, whilst we are at home in the body, we are absent from the Lord: 7(For we walk by faith, not by sight 8We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord. 9Wherefore we labor, that, whether present or absent, we may be accepted of him. 10For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad. 11Knowing therefore the terror of the Lord, we persuade men;

 We have a terrestrial body, there are bodies that are celestial and those that are terrestrial, one is earthy (Made of clay) and the other is heavenly (Made of spirit). The terrestrial groans to clothed upon with the spiritual one a body celestial. The earthy house of this tabernacle, this lump of clay earnestly desires our new home eternal in the heavens! To be delivered from this body of death, for we that are in this earthly tabernacle do groan being burdened, (but one day we?ll lay these old burdens down). This life can be such a burden and as Christians we should be longing for heavens green shores, where we will stroll all over streets of gold, shout around the hills of glory, swim in the river of life that flows from the throne room of almighty God! I have a home prepared where the saints abide, just over in the glory land, with the blood washed throng I?ll shout and sing!

 Clothed upon with the righteousness of God that we should not be found naked or unclothed. I want to be ready when my change comes, don?t you? Old Job said, I?m waiting for my change to come! Romans 8:17-25 heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together. For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory, which shall be revealed in us. For the earnest expectation of the creature waits for the manifestation of the sons of God, because the creature itself also shall be delivered. from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God. (If any man be in Christ he is a new creature, a new creation) For we know that the whole creation groaneth and travaileth in pain together until now. And not only they, but ourselves also, which have the first fruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting for the adoption, to wit, the redemption of our body. For we are saved by hope: but hope that is seen is not hope: for what a man seeth, why doth he yet hope? But if we hope for that we see not, then do we with patience wait for it?

 Now he that wrought the selfsame thing for us is God, the first fruits of those who are changed from the bondage of corruption to the glorious liberty of the children of God!  This corruptible must put on incorruption. The first fruits of those who are raised from death unto eternal life! The redeemed of God; let the redeemed of the Lord say so! Romans 8:15 but if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you. 12Therefore, brethren, we are debtors, not to the flesh, to live after the flesh. 13For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live. For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God. 15For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father. 16The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God, and it does not yet appear what we shall be but, we do know that when He shall appear, we shall be like Him; we shall see Him as He is! And we shall be changed in the moment in the twinkling of an eye.

 We know that to be at home in this body of flesh is to be absent from the Lord. Therefore we can say with confidence that to be absent from this body is to be present with the Lord! If we try to save our life, we will lose it, (Through the wonders of modern science, wonder drugs, the world is going vitamin crazy, they take penicillin so they don?t catch something and now there are new strands of viruses that have become immune to it, flu shots and everything else, not that I see anything wrong with a flu shot, but let?s face it everybody wants to go to heaven but, nobody wants to die! we must be willing at all times to give up this mortal and put on immortality!  As Dad preached the other night Paul said I?m ready to be offered up, the time of my departure is at hand, he knew he had insurance beyond the grave, protection for the soul!

 2 Corinthians 4: 10-18   for which cause we faint not; but though our outward man perish, yet the inward man is renewed day by day. For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, works for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory; While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.

   Let me get right into this message by telling you that the first thing that God wants you to know; THAT YOU ARE SAVED! 1John 5:11&12 This is the record (The good news, the good report!) we must trust, accept and believe the report as being true! The Romans road says (Romans 10:9&10) the word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach! 9That if thou shall confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shall believe in your heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shall be saved. 10For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.  But they have not all obeyed the gospel. Not everyone is willing to confess Jesus Christ yes, they believe but, so do all the devils, they believe and tremble in the presence of almighty God! Isaiah said, Lord, who hath believed our report?

  What is the record again? That God has given to us eternal life, and this life is in his son. He that hath the son hath life, and (in conjunction with that, he that hath not the Son of God hath not life but, the curse of death abides upon him!

  God wants you to know that you are saved, even though the devil would say, ?you don?t really believe you are saved, do you? You are the same person that were before, aren?t you? Besides, how can anyone know for sure they are saved? That?s his job, to tempt you into doubting your salvation and to discourage you so you will give up! He will try and make you believe the evil report! Our job (As it were) is to resist the devil that he may flee (Runaway) from us! Never give him place to work, and never give up! Be not weary in well doing, for we shall reap, if (A pivotal word that usually hinges on a condition) we faint not, in other words if we never give up!

  Satan is known as the accuser of the brethren, he accuses us before God day and night! Where do you get that from Brother Gibson, you may ask? (Rev. 12:10) He never ceases his whining, murmuring and complaining about us. I believe that is why it is a sin to do so; God hears enough of it from the devil. We don?t need to do the same thing the devils do! (Read God doesn?t like crybabies!) He was a murderer from the beginning, a slanderer who has never been able to abide in the truth! The Father of all lies, God hates liars and that is why all liars shall have their part in the lake of fire that burns with fire and brimstone! He is miserable and his kind of misery loves whatever kind of company it can keep! He loves confusion! If you are confused about your salvation, I want you to know that it is a work of the enemy of your soul! God is not the author of confusion. Satan wants to discourage us, because discouragement brings on depression and ask any kind of health specialist you want to and they will tell you; that depression is the leading cause of all forms illness! Confusion produces doubt, worry and brings on fear and fear has torment! O? but honey God has not given us a spirit of fear (fear is bondage) we have been made free, whom the Son has set free, he is free indeed!  There is no fear in love; but perfect love will cast out fear. He that has fear is not made perfect in love. God has given us power over all the powers of the enemy! There is nothing that can sit on you to hurt you! He told us we could tread upon scorpions, which is exactly where that devil belongs, under your feet! God has also given us a spirit of love, because love covers a multitude of sin, and a sound mind! All of this of course could be a whole different message. These things I?ve just mentioned however are the tools we need to defeat Satan and overcome the fear he would try to put upon us! Which leads me into the second thing God wants you to know.

2.) You Can Overcome Temptation 1Cor. 10:13 ?there is no temptation taken you (None that have taken you by surprise) but, such is common to man. (This is to say that temptation is a common thing and that all men are commonly tempted, even Christ himself was tempted yet without sin!) These common temptations God has said are of the world, ?the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eye and the pride of life? these three things are of the world (we are in the world but, not of the world) therefore if any man love the world and the things that are of the world then the love of the Father is not in him! James 1:13-16; Let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of God: for God cannot be tempted with evil, neither does he tempt any man, But every man is tempted, when he is drawn away of his own lust, and enticed (Seduced or trapped). Then when lust hath conceived, (Sin is a seed just as the word of God is a seed, it is a living organism, once it is planted it germinates and will bring forth fruit, just as a woman who is pregnant, that embryo will eventually come forth) it brings forth sin: and sin, when it is finished, brings forth death. Do not err, my beloved brethren. (In other words don?t go wrong in believing this because it is part of the report!) Make sure that your sins will find you out! You can hide your sin from your parents, and you might be able to hide them from your preacher, your spouse, or even your children but, one of these days that sin will be brought out into the light and everyone will know! Something that is very noteworthy should be added right here, it is not a sin to be tempted.  Temptation becomes sin when we yield to it, drawn away from God by our own lusts. That is why we must follow after the Spirit, that we may not fulfill the lusts of the flesh. (Again another sermon!) But, leads us into the third thing God wants us to know.

3.) God is Faithful 1John1: 9 if we do commit sin (a commitment to sin means that you have given place to the devil, we then open ourselves up for slavery to the wiles of the god of this world! When we resist the will of God for our lives the protective hedge comes down (Psalms 34:7), and the ways of a transgressor becomes very hard!

  Yet God is faithful and, just to forgive us our sins and, will cleanse us from all unrighteousness. He will not suffer you (Allow you) to be tempted above that ye are able: but will with every temptation also make a way of escape, that you might be able to bear it! (He will show you the way out of your temptation) He?ll bring you out! He will give power to stand the testing of your faith. Every trial can become a blessing, a blessing in disguise! Although Satan says, all right so what if you are a Christian! However you are a defeated Christian and, you will always be, as a matter of fact, there are certain sins in your life, which you will never be able to overcome. (That is only a half-truth, for you see the devil cannot tell the whole truth, which is that by myself I can do nothing, but through faith in Christ I can do all things because he gives me the strength to do so!) Don?t listen to his lies. He is a failure and he wants you to feel completely defeated! The truth is that

We are more than conquerors through him that loved us and, gave him self a ransom for many. We were held hostage by our taskmaster, and the will of our father we obeyed, O? but child of God, our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ the righteous bought our pardon, straight off of death row! (There I go with yet another message) So Lucifer is a whipped pup he?s such a LOSER, I picture him walking around with an L on his forehead! Christ causes us to triumph and gives us victory over sin! This is the victory that overcomes the world, even our faith. Which leads to a perfect state of maturity.

Romans 5:3-5 we glory in tribulation, knowing (Something that he says we should already realize) tribulation works patience, and patience experience, and experience hope, and hope does not make one ashamed! This hope that we have in Him will never leave us where we would be ashamed, because if we have made our calling and our election sure, we shall never fall! (Never fail to do what God has called us to do). We are running the race with patience laying aside every weight and the sin that does so easily beset us! (Set us back to the point where the devil is able to come along and convince you that you aren?t doing any good at all! You ought to just give up! It?s no use; this Christian walk is just too hard!) We must with a clear conscience serve God; there is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus; who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit! It?s all about Love, if you love God you will keep His commandments, in other words you will do those things that please the Father and you?ll do it out of love, not because you have to or that is what a good Christian is supposed to do. Pretty simple really (LOL). Hope does not one ashamed because ?The Love Of God? is shed abroad in our hearts! The love you have for God should be enough to keep you from sin! That truly is what the Bible speaks about ?Our First Love?

 #4.) God hears and answers prayer John 16:24 part B of this verse tells us that we should A.S.K. James the brother of Jesus said, ?you have not because you ask not!? Ask, Seek, and Knock the three-fold promise of God! Three little letters A.S.K. coincidence you ask? I don?t believe so. If you will ask it shall be given unto you, if you seek you shall find, and if you knock it shall be open unto you! That our joy may be full, Jesus said. It is how we are able to stand the fiery trials; THE JOY OF THE LORD is our strength! Would you like to know what else brings me joy? The fact that I have confidence in him, if I ask anything according to His will, then He hears me, and I know that if He hears me, then I have the petition I desire of Him! I challenge you as a Christian, if you would only delight yourself in knowing the will of God, you can ask what you will and He will give you the desires of your heart! Psalms 1 says blessed is the man who delights himself in the law of the Lord, someone who meditates in His law day and night, David said, ?that he would be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, (Living water that will flow from the inner most part of your being! From your belly springing up into everlasting life!) That brings forth fruit in its season, his leaf also shall not wither (The gift or calling God has placed in your life will not fade away, you can keep the same anointing that will cause you to bring forth much fruit!) and whatsoever you do God shall cause it to prosper! You will be blessed in your deed because you are a doer of the word and not a hearer only. 

 God?s eyes are over the righteous and His ears are opened unto their cries! He hears and answers prayers! Prayer changes things; it changes people, circumstances, and situations. Prayer is one of the keys to the Kingdom of Heaven!

 Still yet Satan will come to you and tell you that God don?t really care about you, if He did, you wouldn?t be going through all of this! As a matter of fact He is probably concerned about more important things, and just how important can you be that God would answer your prayers?

 Saints of God can I tell you that we have God?s word on it, if He said it, I believe it, and praise the good Lord that settles it! God is not a man that He can lie that is one of the immutable things of God (Things concerning his nature and character) God never changes and God cannot lie if His word says it honey you can believe it! He is a man of His word. Believe it and receive it, doubt it and do without it!  Read Psalms 34:15&16 the righteous cry and the Lord will hear and deliver them out of all their troubles! Thank you dear God!

 Let us review the four things again OK?

1.)    God wants you to know that you are saved

2.)    He wants you to know that you can overcome temptation

3.)    God is faithful to forgive you

4.)    He hears and answers prayer
