From the Heart of David Brollier

Jesus Christ the Author and Finisher of our faith

What Others are Saying

It's real easy to "toot your own horn" as the saying goes.  So I'm including some reviews that others have said about my work.   If you have read THE 3RD COVENANT and want to submit a review, please email me putting the word REVIEW in the Subject box.  Although I may not use all of them to help sell my next book I will post all reviews here (short of any that feel it necessary to use vulgarity.  If you have something unpleasant to say about the book speak plainly without the vulgarity and I will post it, otherwise I will not).

Praise for The 3rd Covenant

"The 3rd Covenant is a fast paced and exciting religious thriller."

THE 3RD COVENANT - Reviews

I have a lot of admiration for Frank Peretti and believe him to be very gifted and talented, but in my opinion, my friend David Brollier, does a LOT BETTER job in his writing. - Genevon Hinseth (Genie - because that's how it's pronounced)

"Nicely handled! A fast-paced read with good characterization and a believable plot. I can see this as having strong potential for screen adaptation. The Christian sub-theme, after a somewhat forced introduction, develops naturally along with the central characters rather than being presented as a gratuitous add-on. The humour interspersed throughout is sometimes subtle, sometimes openly uproarious, but always welcome. David Brollier proves himself as an up-and-coming new author with considerable talent and keen insight into the subject on which he writes. Look for his name on the New York Times Best-Sellers List before many years are out!" - Doris Howie of Ohzone.Net

I just finished reading one of the books you gave me (THE 3RD COVENANT). It was really great! I'm not one who reads police stories, but this was very well written, the characters were extremely well-developed, and very believable. He made them be like real people with real emotions and struggels, rather than the fake kind of Christians that are usually portrayed in Christian novels. It was also fun to follow the driving scenes across New Jersey and back, since I know the routes so well. You can tell your friend that I give it a thumbs up--a great suspense. Does he have anything else in the works? - Donna Hanchett (Donna is a missionary)

I found it to be interesting, and I could feel a sense of developing characters, ones in which we could form a bond with, and get clost to. Ones that definitely took on some characteristics of either ourselves or people we know. There is definitely a strong Christian influence, and message, and being who I am, I was eager to see more of it presented to me the reader, so I guess this means I will have to wait until the next book in the series, to see how that develops. I pray to have the patience to get the next book autographed. It is always nice to have something personal from family around. I loved how David Brollier did the "in the meantime" parts (like when he was describing what's going on in the car up front between the Bishop and Elly and then what's going on in the trunk with Susan). SO PROFESSIONAL!!! He is DEFINITELY GIFTED IN WRITING!!! And I am enjoying EVERY WORD!!! HE LEAVES ME HANGING AND DROOLING FOR MORE!!! SOME-body get me a TOWEL!!! FAST!!! I can hardly wait to see if the Bishop gets saved!!! Those parts are the MOST INTERESTING and make the book seem less like a FICTION work!!! What a GREAT MYSTERY and a REALLY GRIPPING STORY!!! And there was so much REAL TRUTH in it, it didn't even feel like I was reading a work of fiction!!! MOVE OVER, SHERLOCK AND WATSON!!! MAKE ROOM FOR NAT AND MAY!!! If you haven't gotten a copy of "The 3rd Covenant" from your local bookstore or on the Amazon site, you better hurry and get one. That is ONE REALLY GOOD BOOK!!! - Genevon Hinseth

DELIVERANCE

(Note to visitors:  DELIVERANCE is a work in progress.  Yet even with all its blemishes and before I've had the chance to clean it up properly I have one review of this work in its current state)

I had the pleasure of reading DELIVERANCE by David Brollier. With the skill and knowledge of a law enforcement officer and the faith of a minister, he told a story of faith, forgiveness and grace. The characters were intriguing. The lives of believer and non-believer, adult and youth all mingled together into a rich cacophony of life. Each character had a 'song' to sing and as they blended and pulled apart the book became an orchestra. Missy, the troubled teen, caught in many bad choices finds her way through a living nightmare to a faith that forgives even her tormentor. Nat, the tough police officer, walks the path of truth in a job that often shuns it. He must find Missy before it is too late. May, troubled by one single event in her life seven years earlier finds the need for vengeance a driving force hard to let go. The many other characters that enter and leave the pages of the book add to the richness of the story. And when the story closes and you continue to ponder the deep lessons within the pages you will find the life of Missy also affects your life. And that is the beauty of the book. It will stay with you and teach you even after the final page is read and the book is closed. - Chandra L. Smith
