What is CFRB? I'm really glad you asked. CFRB is short for Christian Fiction Review Blog and we can be found at http://cfrblog.blogspot.com
Wow! I've really been impressed by the way God has been leading CFRB, particularly with the membership we've been getting. Karina Fabian, a.k.a. "Queen Chat Nag", opened up her site so CFRB could utilize this fantastic site for periodic author chats. Be sure to check out her site at http://fabianspace.com where you'll be able to find the media page, which lists upcoming chats of all kinds. Karina isn't the only one to add spice and depth to CFRB. There's Cynthia MacKinnon, editor of The Writers' Cafe Press. She put together the marvelous anthology of Biblical speculative fiction entitled LIGHT AT THE EDGE OF DARKNESS, a true gathering of the masters. She came to us after Grace Bridges, from Lost Genre Guild joined us and let them know about us over there at LGG. Consequently a number of LGG members are also members at CFRB. It's not exclusive, however. We have several writers from outside most other groups who have joined and presented us with some wonderful material. Rev. James Somers with his THE CHRONICLES OF SOONE: HEIR TO THE KING, entertained us with a unique mix of fantasy and science fiction. Mary Connealy took us into the old west for a humorous romantic suspense entitled PETTICOAT RANCH and don't forget Karina Fabian's contribution as editor of INFINITE SPACE, INFINITE GOD, an anthology of science fiction with a Catholic slant. These, and others, have contributed more than just books to delight the reading public, but have thrown in to help CFRB become a truly functional ministry. I thank each and every one, with special thanks to my co-partner, Jackie Moore, without whose prayers, encouragement, and humble support we wouldn't exist at all. If you're a Christian writer of fiction and would like to join this unique body please go to http://groups.yahoo.com/group/CFRB and click on "Join this group". It can't be much easier than that. We ask that you read the file, "Rules and Stuff" in the group's file section. Then post an introduction to the group so we can properly welcome you into the group. Be prepared for some fun, some difficulties, some challenges, and some real chances to minister the Gospel of Jesus through Christian fiction.
