Hello! I want to thank you for visiting my website, it gives me great pleasure in knwoing that there are lots of people out there who have respect and admiration for Joseph Merrick. My name is Harriet Turner and I'm a 17 year old art college student from England. I have always been curious about Joseph Merrick from an early age, but only recently have I actually found sufficient research on him. The first time I heard his story and began to admire him was when I purchased David Lynch's brilliant film 'The Elephant man' and ever since I have been a big fan of Joseph. I took my curiosity and fascination with Joseph further and I began to learn more about his actual life, reading numourous biographies and such. Joseph has changed my life, and the way I percieve myself and others. And now I help by keeping his memory alive an any way possible, and one of these ways is my website. I hope you find the information helpful and that you've developed a greater resepct than you no doubt already have, or maybe you've just become a fan just by visiting this site.
