Hello and welcome to Solitaire's website.
A Little Bit About Us!
Solitaires are quite a large group of morris dancers based around the netherley area but girls from Widnes, Bootle, West Derby, and Halewood come to dance for us aswell. We started about 20 years ago when the trainer thought of the idea to start a morris troupe and believe it or not we are stil going strong. The year of 2004, Tots, Babies and seniors all won troupe of the year. The Seniors also won supreme troupe of the Year. All of this was because of all of our trainers help and we couldn't have did this without them!

Solitaire's principle is Margaret Lawlor. There are more trainers who train each troupe who are:

Seniors: Margaret Lawlor & Barbara Paxton
