Ragdoll Rehoming

         Solinari Ragdolls

Welcome to Solinari Ragdolls. When searching for a new cat we stumbled upon ragdolls by accident. Always liking colour pointed cats we wanted a cat that would fit in well with our lifestyle and two young children. We read up extensively on the ragdoll breed and characteristics and fell in love at once! After visiting sever al breeders we finally bought our fist ragdoll.

Upon buying our fist ragdoll (Missy) we were told 'Ragdolls are adictive', a year later we had eight! All of our ragdolls are spoilt indoor pets, all of whom get fed better than ourselves. The temperament of the breed has meant that the children are completely interactive with the cats with no harm to either party! We can wholly conclude that ragdolls are like children, needing a lot of love and attention, however unlike children the older they get the more attentive they are. All of our cats have their own personality and we hope you will visit them to find out more about them on our web page.

In breeding ragdolls we aim to improve the type and health of the breed. We work closely with our ragdolls and the children to ensure that all of our kittens are used to being handled and everyday household noises, in order to ease the move to a new home and environment when they leave us. Our kittens are born in our bedroom, meaning lots of sleepless nights to start off with, but also meaning from an early age the kittens become use to noises around them and being handled. It also means we are close at hand for Mum in the night in case any assistance is needed. At four weeks old the kittens then come downstairs into the living room, to visit the other cats and terrorise the rest of our household. Once the kittens reach 6 weeks we then let them loose and they have the run of the whole house. At this point peace and quiet has well and truely gone! All of our kittens leave home at 14 weeks, fully wormed, vaccinated and fleaed. All kittens are GCCF registered and come with full pedigrees and transfer certificates, along with kitten goodie packs to help them settle into their new environment.

We hope you enjoy looking through our site and meeting the rest of our family!
