Hendrix was my first show dog and for a couple of novices we did very well, together we won well over 100 rossettes at all levels of competetion. Hendrix however didnt particularly appreciate the limelight and preferred to stay home chasing shadows.

I have learnt so much from him, at our first championship show he qualified for crufts under breed specialist Mrs C Robertshaw (Crookrise) with a 3rd in minor puppy and puppy, I was delighted that at our first ever crufts he won the puppy class under breed specialist Mr S Parsons (Pipeaway) from an entry of 8 dogs. What a way to start! He notched up several BOB's, group placements and some excellent critiques along the way.

Pam Blay writes
''What a lovely moving dog of that same quality that I desire in the breed. Lovely masculine head & expression, moved effortlessly, looking the part particularily in profile, excellent well muscled hindquarters & well set tail. Good feet and front''

Zena Thorn - Andrews writes
''Good head profile, symmetrical build, lean and in hard condition which reflected in his powerful movement, nice pointer indeed''

Hendrix has now been neutered and retired from the showring, he now enjoys shadow chasing and sleeping on the sofa all day.

Hendrix at just 17 months
