Welcome to my site. My name is Cassie Collins and I am owned by the two pointers above. As a child I fell in love with two breeds, pointers and dachshunds. As a family we were never without several dogs of many varying breeds: Borzois, a papillon, a irish red and white setter and a blanket black and white pointer bitch named Star. Star had a superb temperment and I enjoyed her greatly.
When I was old enough I was allowed to choose a dog of my own I decided upon pointers as they fitted in best with my lifestyle, by chance I happened too see an advert for a litter of pointers on the internet. When I phoned they had all been sold but I was put in touch with a breeder nearby who had a litter due. From this litter I selected 'Hendrix' at 6 weeks as a pet. It was suggested by his breeder that I might give showing a go with him, so at just 6 months of age we entered the ring for the first time, coming from a background of horse and poultry showing, I caught the dog showing bug and havent looked back since.
I have great admiration for pointers as a breed and I do believe them to be the true aristocrats of the gundog world. There is no better sight to me than a well constructed pointer on the move, be that in the field or the showring.
I expect pointers to always be a part of my life and I hope that my involvement in the breed is beneficial.
