Snowdog Northern Inuit Dogs

We have always had dogs in our family, pedigree breeds and various mutts.  But  before we had Sapphire,we had never been to a dog show.  Not knowing what to expect, we set off with our tent and dog to our very first dog show, the 'Inuit Dog Association' Hull show in  2007.  We hadn't got a clue what to expect at a dog show and had only planned on doing the training workshops and watching the other dogs in the show. The organisers of the show made us very welcome, and we had a great weekend. There was a training workshop on how to show your dog, Michael (age 13) really took to it and he entered Sapphire in the show classes.

At our first ever show Sapphire won Minor Puppy, Puppy, and Best Puppy in Show

We have taken Sapphire and Talli to shows held around the country, and have had great fun meeting up with other owners.

Sapphire has had a great time at the shows, she has won 1st place rosettes in Minor Puppy, Puppy, Special Yearling, Beautiful Bitch, Best Puppy in show, and 3rd place in TIDA dog of the year

Sapphire also passed her bronze kennel club certificate.

 Talli is a handsome boy, but his talents in are the novelty events

His favourite event is the treat catching contest, well he is always very interested in anything to do with food.

At the Preston show he won 1st in best novelty

We are looking forward to joining in the fun at next years events, and can't wait for the shows to start again in the spring.
