This mortuary was built by my own grimy appendages from sordid ceremonial grounds and drenched in the blood of disdain and rejection. My ghoulish hands have woven together this underworld to feature some great works from horror authors who haven’t had their imaginative scrolls of horror presented in this inner sanctum from the crypt and into the daylight. We dare to publish what other mags don't, but only in the best of taste! All we ask is that you patron the ones you like by buying their novel with the link to their website on where to buy their book. Do you have an original short story you want to see published? All first and second time published and self-published writers welcome. If we publish it we will  showcase your story and promote your book or website right underneath your featured work in the hallowed halls of our magazine. If available, we will also post your featured author bio and picture on the site for the month your story is published.We have bi-monthly paying contests and we have published a horror anthology with paying royalties to the contributors featured therein. Submit us your best unpublished fiction! You can promote your book directly through your own channels of distribution and still get your name out to the masses. We charge no fees for any of our services. We are the new Bootcamp of Horror! We can also help get you into HWA with our paying contests. Our philosophy is this: since no one gets famous overnight it's imperative for new writers to get exposure and acquire a good fan base. So it's all about having your stories read, initially. We have become a launching ground for authors, who get feedback from our editors to learn and grow before submitting to pro paying markets. Between our members and readers, writers, interviews and goth girls we've mutated like a tumor! We are averaging over 2,000 unique visits to the website each month and word of mouth helps. Make us become the number one source of FREE horror by telling your friends about us. We are open to submissions all year and the floodgates have opened! Horror writers wanted dead or alive for dark, cryptic weavings and grim scribe offerings! If you have an original work of horror between 2000-5000 words then send it here, we want to see it! We will also provide feedback if we do not accept it -- usually within thirty days.

Seasons beatings and a black-n-blue New Year from SNM Mag! We are proud to present issue # 20: The Black Christmas, No Presents issue. This month’s theme features stories of suicide, hopelessness, human loss, mental anguish and despair. This is sadly the highest month of suicide among single people, who face life as an everyday horror and give up their hope. This is a tribute to those lost souls. Our writers were asked to step into their shoes and tap into that emotion…and they delivered! In no way are we pro-suicide. We are here for those who are going through a depression and want to relate to you and offer you a refuge here, as we understand more than you know. 

For those without family or friends for the holidays, who have been through economical struggles and hardships, know your suffering shall soon carry great reward someday. This issue is to advocate that you’re not alone. While alone we face this world, we share your struggles and know your hardships well. Half of the battle is finding the strength to face the battle. Embrace the stories herein, as we know that you will find something you can relate to. Alone we suffer, but together we prevail. Remember this famous quote from Einstein: “Greater souls have always faced violent opposition from mediocre minds.”

SNM Mag will also be releasing the highly anticipated second anthology of Bonded By Blood: A Romance in Red. Pre-orders will be available around mid-December, so you can have a nice stocking stuffer for Christmas!
