You decide. By previewing their featured stories for free, you can decide which authors you like best. All we ask is that you patron only the ones you like by buying their novel with a link to their website or where to buy their book.                           Attention Horror Writers:

Do you have an original short story you want to see published? All first and second time published and self-published writers welcome. If we publish it we will  showcase your short story and promote your book or website right underneath your featured works in the hallowed halls of our magazine. If available, we will post your featured author picture on the site for the month your story is published. We have bi-monthly paying contests and we’ve published a horror anthology with paying royalties to the contributors featured therein. Submit us your best unpublished fiction! You can promote your book directly through your own channels of distribution and still get your name out to the masses. We charge no fees for any of our services. We are the new bootcamp of horror! We can also help get you into HWA with our paying contests. Our philosphy is since no one gets famous overnight, it's imperitive for writers to get exposure and acquire a good fan base. So it's all about having your stories read, initially. We are open to submissions all year and the floodgates have opened! Horror writers wanted dead or alive for dark cryptic weavings and grim scribe offerings! If you have an original work of horror between 2000-5000 words then send it here, we want to see it! We will also provide feedback if we do not accept it -- usually within thirty days.

Greetings SNM Readers, 

Welcome to the July Bang Ya To Death issue of SNM Horror Mag. This may very be the issue of the year so far, loaded with twists and turns and unexpected outcomes. This month our writers were asked to weave a story with big shocker endings that you never saw coming. As far as stand out stories that are memorable and hold your attention, collectively, these shine at their darkest, especially our SNM featured Story of the Month by newcomer Brett Graham, with "Dr. Spindle’s House." We are proud to showcase this issue which even tops last year’s issue under the same theme. We had a record breaking amount of author submissions and have hand selected only the best for you to consume. Welcome to issue 15. It is one that you won’t soon forget. We would really appreciate some reader comments in our guestbook of your favorite ones. Embrace and masticate them as they mentally bang ya to death!

Now in the July issue is my yearly collaborative project where I hand select an SNM published author to share the pen with and weave a story together. Last year it was with Jason Keene. This year I am proud to introduce a new horror prodigy writer and 3x published SNM author, Mr. Joel Peterson. Together we wrote a story in the second person where you only hear one character and have to guess what the other is saying based on the other’s reaction. It will also be the bonus and title track to Bonded By Blood II, entitled: “As My Love Gently Bleeds: A Romance in Red." It is featured on the SNM Short Stories link.
