"Sharing the Joy of the Lord"

A bit about me....

My name is Rhea I'm a 64 yr old married woman with 3 children, 8 grandchildren and two very spoiled dogs, XiaoXiao - a Pekingese and Candy - who was a rescue dog and is probably a Tibetan Spaniel. I got Candy on Thanksgiving Eve 2003.  I've been a born-again believer since 1975 when at the age of 30 I made Jesus my personal Lord and Savior. Hallelujah! I love ministering to women of all ages in person and online. It is my joy to bring others to a full knowledge of Christ and to disciple them as they grow in grace.

It's so exciting to me to see how God works in people's lives, drawing them to Himself.  Looking back on the years before I found out that I could have a personal, living relationship with God, I am amazed at the many ways He sought me out.  My transformation did not come through good works, going to church, or being a good person, but by acknowledging that I could do nothing to earn His love or the right to become His child and be saved from the wages of sin.  It was through difficulties and pain in my life that I began to call upon His name and seek to know Him intimately.  In fact, it was when I was at the end of my rope and asked for Him to show me if He truly cared for me that I began to see Him and feel Him drawing me to Himself.  Step by step, the Holy Spirit led me, taught me and brought me to the Cross.

His Amazing Grace can be your story too.  Turn your life over to God.  Acknowledge that you are a sinner in need of a Savior and that you believe Jesus Christ died on the cross for you as an individual and that he rose again from the dead and lives today.   Ask Him to forgive you and be your Lord (boss).  Look to Him and the Word of God for direction in your life.  You will be amazed at how your life will change and how His love will change your heart.

Please know it is never too late to be born into the Kingdom of God until you take your last breath.  There is nothing that God doesn't already know about you and He loves you just as you are.  He loved you enough to give His only Son to die for you.

The truth is, He doesn't want you to go to hell or to be disillusioned and deceived into thinking you can gain His love or favor by doing good works or of your own efforts.  Jesus himself said, "I am the Way, the Truth and the Life; no man cometh unto the Father but by me." John 14:6 KJV  The bible also declares "But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the children of God, even to them that believe onhis name; Who were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man,but of God.  John 1:12

If you want to learn more and need someone to talk to, my email is hagargirl@mchsi.com  I would be happy to answer your questions and even send you some materials that will help you understand the gospel.  The best place for you to find the truth is in the Word of God.  Start by reading the Book of John all the way through.  Before you do, ask God to reveal the truth to you.  May God richly bless you as you seek Him.

Therefore, if any man be in Christ, he is a new creation; old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.  II Corinthians 5:17 KJV
