07.09.2009:LDCE for JTO(T) to SDE(T): BSNL Board approved the scheme of examination for LDCE. Hereafter there will be no descriptive type questions and only OMR based objective type questions will be there. The syllabus will be the same. The proposal for notification of LDCE for about 4400 SDE posts (including carried over LDCE quota) for the vacancy years 2006-07 and 2007-08 send to DE section. SNEA(India) succeeded in getting approval of change of scheme and notification even though one Association was tried to stop it and deny the promotions to 4400 JTOs. Last time also they tried to stop the LDCE by different court cases, but they could not succeed because of the tough stand taken by SNEA (India). For the first time in the history of DoT/BSNL, hundreds of JTOs who had just completed 3 years of service got promotion to SDE(T) because of SNEA (India). JTOs of 1992 (promoted in seniority quota for 2006-07 & 2007-08) to 2002 rect. year are eligible to apply

02.09.2009:rt has no jurisdiction over telecom disputes with consumers. --- The Supreme Court Tuesday ended the jurisdiction of consumer courts to entertain disputes relating to telecom services. It said from now on, these disputes would be resolved through arbitration provided under Section 7B of the Indian Telegraph Act, 1885.<<News>>

20^th August 2009: Special General Body Meeting of SNEA(I) Tarapur: Special General body Meeting of SNEA(I) Tarapur was held on yesterday Evening at Conference Hall of CIDCO Telephone Exchange, Tarapur, Almost 90% members of SNEA(I) Tarapur and many of active members of Vasai SNEA(I) took active part in discussion & deliberations that took place for more than 5 Hours, Meeting which was specially called by CEC member and most respected leader of Western part of Kalyan SSA Com.U.P.Mishra to focus and highlight the long pending local issues of Western area of Kalyan SSA comprising of Vasai & Tarapur, like Unmanned Exchanges, shortage of Executives & staff, wrong fixation of Pay, unnecessary local transfers, House keeping activity, non availability of cable contractors, harassment by Accounts officers, non consideration of request transfers for Circle office, etc. Meeting was efficiently held under the President ship of Com.P.K.Ram, was attended by many prominent distinguished personalities of SNEA(I) Kalyan led by Circle Secretary SNEA(I) MH Com. M.S.Adasul, CWC member Com.A.R.Manani, District President SNEA(I) Kalyan Com. A.M.Singh,DS Kalyan Com.M.N.Kotambe,Vice President Com.R.K.Nagdekar, District Treasurer Com.K.B.Patil, ADS Com.V.K.Bhamre,Area Secretaries Com. N.N.Kapadnis,Com.V.B.Singh,Com.A.S.Mohrir & Com.S.N.Shukla, Organizing Secretary Com.M.A.Shaikh, Branch Secretary Vasai Com.S.M.Sanghle, Senior DE Com.R.K.Yadav, Ex. Area Secretary Com.J.P.Raut etc. meeting was held as per 28 point agenda carefully prepared and submitted by CEC member Com.U.P.Mishra, CS Com.M.S.Adasul and DS Kalyan Com.M.N.Kotambe noted all the issues and in the end CS replied all the queries and answered upon all the Agenda items, House was assured that SNEA(I)MH & Kalyan has taken note of all the issues and realizes difficulties being faced by Tarapur & Vasai executives and will take all possible steps and put 100% association weight behind solving all these issues at earliest.

19^th August 2009: CHQ News on ITS absorption: It is reliably learned that as promised to SNEA(I) and Joint Forum by DoT and BSNL Management, the ITS absorption issue is taking a final shape. DoT is preparing a Cabinet Note on ITS absorption for the consideration of Union Cabinet.

17th August 2009: officiating promotion from JTO to SDE: MH Circle issued officiating Promotion orders from JTO to SDE for 131 Jots; SNEA (I) MH Circle congratulates all our members on their promotion.

16th August 2009: Holidays in BSNL for 2010: BSNL corporate office issued list of 14 Holidays to be observed in BSNL in the year 2010. Also circulated list of other holidays from which circles has to decide and fix 3 more holidays in their respective circles.

15^th August 2009 : SNEA(I) Kalyan wishes A VERY HAPPY INDEPENDENCE DAY to all the members ,staff and their family members.

13^th August 2009:Com A.M. Singh,president,Com M.N. Kotambe,DS and Com V.K.Bhamre,ADS met to PGMT Kalyan and discussed seriously about the purposely disconnection of FRSTC in kalyan SSA by DGM(F) .About Rs.SEVEN CRORES are outstanding towards FRSTC bills of MTNL staff who are staying in BSNL Kalyan area and DGM(F) Kalyan has kept closed his eyes in this matter . Moreover BSNL regularly pays about Rs.FIVE LACKS to MTNL against the FRSTC provided by MTNL to BSNL staff staying in MTNL area. Also discussed about non-receipt of imprest to the executives working in the area of western part of kalyan SSA months together.

PGMT replied that the meeting will be conducted with DGM(F) in the next week and matter will be resolved at the earliest.

05^th August 2009(10.30 am) :Huge Dharana was organized by lion hearted comrades of SNEA(I) Kalyan to protest the illegal and non-justified transfer order of one of the AIBSNLEA member (who is working since last 30 years in kalyan SDCA) issued by PGMT kalyan.About 200 executives were gherowed to Shri P.K.Londhe ,PGMT,at the entrance of Telephone Bhavan ,Kala Talao ,Kalyan and protested by giving slogans. Lastly PGMT assured that the transfer order will be cancelled by today at 17 hrs.

26^thJuly 2009 :Seniority list of STS Officers: BSNL corporate office released list of all 2664 Adhoc STS officers for verifying their data and correcting if there is any mistake, omission of name etc to be communicated to AGM(DPC) latest by 31^st August-2009.

23^rd July 2009 :SNEA(I) Kalyan congratulates and wishes all the best to newly elected District body of SNEA(I) Amarawati.

21^st July 2009: DS Com M.N.Kotambe, ADS Com V.K.Bhamre and Area Secretary,Dombivli Com N.N. Kapadnis met to newly appointed DGM (Fin) Shri S.W.Patil and requested to release our executives temp.advances / imprest within the stipulated time .In his reply he assured that temp.advances / imprest our field officers will be released within the period and if it is not so , the necessary action will be taken against delayed accounts officials/ officer. He also agreed for single bill for whole SSA and will be paid through ECS SO that lacks of rupees can be saved .SNEA(I) appreciates the decision taken by Shri S.W.Patil,DGM(F).

Afterwards we met to Shri P.K.Londhe PGMT and requested to post TTAs to BB Section to form a help desk and approve the extension for cable construction work .As usual, without waiting much ,PGMT Approved both the above cases immediately. Thanks to Shri P.K. Londhe, PGMT for his quick and right decision.

18^th July 2009: Long awaited CSC opened at Bhiwandi :The work of CSC at Bhiwandi was almost completed except some minor work before one and half year .Last week ,during the SNEA(I)branch meeting at Bhiwandi our comrades of Bhiwandi were highlighted the matter of CSC.DS and presidents took this matter very seriously .Immediately took the meeting with Area Manager Bhiwandi Shri Kishor Ekka and PGMT Shri P.K.LONDHE and requested to fulfill the requirement and open the CSC in next week.

Accordingly , so awaited CSC is opened with the hands of Shri P.K.Londhe,PGMT Kalyan on today. The function was also attended by Com A.M.Singh,President,Com M.N.Kotambe,DS, Shri Kishorkumar ,GM(D),Shri S.W.Patil DGM(F)Kalyan,Com V.N.Savdekar ,AGM(Admin),Com B.W.Patil,DE(intl)kalyan,Com D.A.Khandare,DE(EXTL)Kalyan,Com A.M.I.Ansary,DE Bhiwandi,Com Sonawane ,DE(I)Bhiwandi, Com V.K.Bhamre,ADS,Com R.K.Nagdekar,Vice-president,Com M.M.Apte,Com K.L.Jadhav,Com R.P.Deshpande,Com Tanaji Bhor DS BSNLEU,Com Ashok Ugale,DS,NFTE.The function was well organized by Com M.R.Sanap,Area secretary BWD,Com M.A.Shaikh,Organising secretary ,Com R.D.Pimpalkar,Br.secretary,Com R.K.Yadav Br.president,Com J.Sugadhan Com Mukesh Wadhawani and members of SNEA(I) Bhiwandi.All the dignities were felicitated by presenting them bouquet .Our beloved CS Com M.S.Adasul and AGS Com A.R.Manani couldn’t attend the function as they are on tour vidharbha.

14th July 2009: DPC promoted SDEs are given 17th July 09 as last date for joining : MH Circle endorsed the BSNL corporate office ultimatum for DPC promoted SDEs against 67% quota to join their posting before 17th July-2009 or otherwise their promotion orders will be treated as Cancelled on 18th July-09.
