The quality home cooked food, and weekly carvery, are second to none, often bringing people in from
miles around. Local cod and chips, Homemade cottage pie and homemade lasagne are firm favourites
on the regular menu, supported by a mouthwatering selection on the ever changing specials board. If
you're lucky enough, you may even have a chance to try the famous homemade steak pie. All the
food is locally sourced and there is a vegetarian option available.

Likewise, the fine selection of local and national traditional ales have people coming back again and
again. Fullers London pride (4.1%) and Harveys Sussex Best Bitter (4.0%) are regulars, with a wide
range of guest ales coming from local breweries (Harveys, Darkstar, W.J. King, Rother Valley
Brewing Co, etc) and national breweries (Fullers, Wadworth, Ruddles, Greene King, etc).
