I'm not sure exactly what it is, but it may be live performances and I believe an interview. Be sure to tune in! If you can't, it will be posted on the site a few days later. I think I might not be out of school by then, but hopefully you guys will be able to see it!
You can read more about it HERE.

Enjoy, guys!
If you check out Smoosh's official site, they've got a whole new look with a picture from Michelle Moore's shoot as their homepage. They said that the shoot was on "the coldest day of the year". =p There's a bunch of new links and little tid-bits added like that. (It looks like it's still under construction.)
Also, according to Smooshfans and Smoosh.com, Smoosh is releasing their sophomore CD, "Free To Stay" in Europe. They are also touring in Europe. The dates can be found here.
Finally, Asy's new song "Day Dream Vacation" is going to be featured on Head Like a Kite's new album!

One of my favorite Smoosh songs, Show Me What You Wanted, was played at Spin live in 2005.
You can listen to it here.
If you haven't yet seen the Daytrotter article featuring Smoosh, click here.
Here, you can download the songs Smoosh played for Daytrotter.
It’s a new one. I kind of wrote it in two pieces. One day, I as playing around and I put them together and it worked. I finished writing it. The words aren’t totally finished yet though. I’m hoping the words will make more sense. On the next record, I want to write more meaningful lyrics. This was the first time that Maia’s ever recorded with us.
This is also a new one. I wrote a part of it a really long time ago and I thought I had a really good part, but I couldn’t finish it. I was being an inventor on that one. We didn’t have our sampler with us when we recorded with you guys. I like that this song is a really dynamic song. It’s got a pretty quiet part and a really loud part and we like that.
I wrote this one partly in the studio because we needed more songs for the CD. We like playing this song. We have a lot of quiet songs and we usually tend to not play them live because nobody dances to them.
I wrote this one in less than an hour. I kept thinking about the different parts for it and I got pretty excited about it because it was right around the time when I wasn’t writing very much. The “she” is anyone. It’s not about one person. Also, this was the first one that Chloe started singing on.

Asya and Chloe chose a few of their current favorite songs to talk about before their show at Kilby Court in Salt Lake City.
I found a Promises video from Smoosh's set SLUB. It's kind of old, but nothing is ever old for a Smoosh fan.
I added a few photos from Smoosh's Pabst Theather set to the gallery.
Thanks for visiting Smoosh the Band Online!
EDIT BY SAMANTHA: I added a few MORE pictures to the gallery. :)
Smoosh played a new song, 'In the Fall' at Bumbershoot 2007 which can be viewed here.
And aside from a new video, I also added 4 new photos from Bumbershoot to the gallery.
EDIT BY EMMA & SAMANTHA: No, we did not disappear off the face of the Earth! :) We have been really busy, and we'd like to thank Mariah for filling in when we can't get the updates up ourselves. We joined 2 competition leagues and we didn't really have time to get on. We will ALWAYS be with this site though, so don't worry. If Mariah get's busy as well, you can bet we'll get the updates up. Maybe just not in time. Thank you for being patient and thank you SO much to Mariah for being such a big help! She rocks big time!
Anyway, we'd like to say Happy (Belated) Birthday to Maia! As Smoosh's bass player, Maia is the most rocking pre-teen out there! She is so talented, and from Smoosh The Band Online...
HAPPY 11th BIRTHDAY, MAIA!
I added really amazing photos of Smoosh from Bumbershoot 2007 to the gallery.
Asya and Chloe talked with Roxwell about their video 'Find A Way' here.
Happy September :)
EDIT BY SAMANTHA: Hey, everyone!! Sorry I haven't been updating! I've been really busy with getting ready for school to start! Thank you Mariah and to everyone for being patient! Anyway, Smoosh performed at the Bumbershoot last night. Here's a paragraph from the Seattle PI:
--Mikel Toombs
"We already have a trumpet player, and maybe we'll add a melodica, an accordion and more horns and a guitar - pretty much any cool instruments that I can find."
Also, there will be new pictures coming soon. Smoosh did a photoshoot with WWD and the photos will be released later in August.
edit by mariah: added a few more pictures from Lollapalooza and Kilby Court to the gallery.
Big News!! Smoosh is going to be featured on Nick Jr. along with stars such as Tony Hawk and Elijah Wood.
Here is the article from SPIN.COM:
"Lending a hand to the leagues of animated avatars and fictional TV
characters is all the rage these days; just ask one of these musically
minded cartoon junkies. And the Shins, the Postmarks, Cornelius,
Smoosh, Biz Markie, Devo's Mark Mothersbaugh, and Rahzel, are among
the latest acts to join the fad and contribute to Nick Jr.'s Yo Gabba
Gabba!, a music cartoon series aiding school children with "simple
life lessons," Pitchfork reports.
The show, also featuring guests like Elijah Wood and Tony Hawk,
depicts Biz Markie in a segment named "Biz's Beat of the Day," while
Mothersbaugh stars in "Mark's Magic Pictures." Furthermore, songs such
as "Party in My Tummy," "Snacky Snack Snack," and "Try It, You'll Like
It" attempt to teach the pleasures of healthy foods. Yo Gabba Gabba!
premiers on Nick Jr. Aug. 20."
Congrats! I don't know if this means they'll be playing their songs, hosting, or recording songs, but either way, Congrats to Smoosh for being featured!!
