Cheyenne & Savannah Cheyenne and Savannah are the newest additions to our family. They both are sisters. Cheyenne looks similar to a chocolate lab with a white chest and very faint rottweiler markings on her face and legs. Savannah looks like a rottweiler but her rottweiler markings are more creamy. One parent is a purebred rottweiler and the other is half lab and half newfoundland. At 9 weeks old, Cheyenne weighed in at 12 1/2 pounds and Savannah at 16 lbs. The vet says Savannah will grow up to about 100 pounds and Cheyenne at 60-70 pounds. They both are full of energy, like all puppies. They are unbelievably hard to house train. There's always accidents in the house and they get into EVERYTHING. Cheyenne is the troublemaker and to think, my roommate wanted to name her "Angel." She's the exact opposite of Angel! Cheyenne actually belongs to my roommate and Savannah is my dog. Spike is teaching them the ropes, the puppies follow him everywhere. He's teaching them to not chase the chickens or cats or startle the horses. Savannah already shows a protective instinct, she will be good for protecting the property when she grows bigger. Same with the cats, I'm working on getting pictures up. It's hard for me to get pictures resized right now. I'll try my best to get them up as soon as possible. |
