Parish Mission Statement

Marguerite d'Youville believed in the guidance and loving involvement of God in her life.  This enabled her to become God's helping hands in the lives of others. In this same spirit, the parishoners of St. Marguerite d'Youville, nourished by Word and Sacrament are called by God to foster a community of welcome and service.  In union with Christ, we reach out through prayer and active participation within our parish, our schools, our community, and beyond. We offer our gifts and talents to everyone in need and respond in faith to the challenges of our ever-changing world.

About Our Parish

St. Marguerite d’Youville Parish has flourished since its humble beginnings in November 1992 with just 80 households. For eleven years, we celebrated our Masses at St. John Bosco School. But as our Parish family grew, it became necessary to find a new, larger and permanent home.

In April 2003, we moved into a new church. Today we have over 3,800 registered households - twice as many as when we began construction of the church. The parish now serves six elementary schools and two secondary schools.

Today, there are over 30 distinct ministries at St. Marguerite d’Youville. We invite you to join our truly vibrant community of welcome and service, reaching out through prayer and active participation within our parish, our schools, our community, and beyond. Please speak to a member of the Welcoming Ministry about how you can participate in parish life.
