Next semester we will be handing out forms for assumption of risk. We didn't do this earlier this semester because we were feeling out the club. Now that we are established we need to discuss more pressing details. Brian, Henry and Nate will be graduating soon and if you want the club to last we will need to have more people step up and organize. If you want the club to last people without boards may have to become officials and petition for funds to establish a set of school boards and pads.
For the past three meetings we've held, no one's shown up aside from club officials. I know the weather's getting cold and school's reached crunch time, so if this continues after the new year, we'll restrict notifications to more formal sessions and focused clinics.
Also, because of recent events, we'd like everyone to know that wearing helmets is now REQUIRED when boarding Kent Hill. That's a good thing.

You've stumbled upon the SMELL (St. Mary's Eclectic Longboard League) website, the website for the St. Mary's College of Maryland Longboarding club (St. Mary's comes from Historic St. Mary's City where the college is located, not a denominational signifier in case you were wondering).
