My name is Richard. Over the rest of this page, I will be describing how my love for the Smart Roadster Coupe has fuelled a desperate and (I'll be honest) rather pathetic attempt to blag one. An attempt made even more desperate due to the recent announcement that Smart are to stop producing the Roadster at the end of 2005. 

The idea first came about when I saw something on TV about someone who really wanted an iPod. In their desperation they set up a website appealing to people to share the wealth and allow him to experience the pleasure of owning an iPod.

Now it is my turn to be shameless.

So, I am calling upon all Smart Roadster owners, all people with so much money they can't spend it all and all people who have ever had a dream, to give a little to my Smart Roadster appeal.

It's amazing how you can fall in love with a car. But alas, I will probably never be able to experience the thrill of the drive of a Smart Roadster Coupe. Possibly the quirkiest, and most exciting little car ever.

Maybe you can help me. You may be asking "Why should I?". Well the answer is... there is no reason. I'm just trying the own the best car in the world in possibly the most shameless way. There's got to be more chance of me achieving my goal this way than trying to win the lottery every week!
