Located in the beautiful San Luis Valley Harvey & Sandy Smalley maintain one of the oldest Angus herds in Colorado.

We run 180 mother cows selected out of the top heifers over the past 45 years and by some of the top AI bulls in the breed.  We have Black Angus and  Red Angus cattle on our ranch.  We have been PAP testing our cattle for years and only keep High Altitude tolerant  indivituals in our breeding program.

We strive to produce the type of cattle for today's industry.  We feel the key to success is to breed for moderation in all genetic traits.
