Nixons Hill Farms

Welcome to Nixons Hill Farms   -  Located in Southwestern Ontario, Canada ....We are living on the farm where Gene was born and raised.  Alice and Dale Nixon raised 6 children on this farm, mainly used as a dairy operation from 1930 until their passing in 1988.  We purchased the farm from the estate in 1989 and have lived here raising miniature horses since 1991.  Our goal is to raise the smallest miniature horses with traits that reflect the Standard of Perfection as outlined in the American Miniature Horse Association Rule Book.  Our mares are all under 34 inches and our stallions are under 30 inches.  Most of our horses are trained to drive and we also own a National Pleasure Driving Champion  gelding, Silver Meadows Dan's Leprechaun.

We can offer overnight accomodations for travellers and we are able to provide board for up to 4 horses.  We have a training arena that is available for use in driving training or obstacles and jumps.
