My passion for the people I care about, nature and the ocean have inspired me to capture the beauty of all of the above in film. I have been interested in photography from an early age, and those close to me have come to expect me with a camera in hand.In my travels and everyday life I strive to make and capture memories. I supposed you could classify me as crafty. Keeping my hands busy helps me to focus and relax. This has led to my jewelry making. It all started as a hobby making pieces for myself. Soon, my collection had grown too large for me to wear it all and developed into gift giving project and then a small business. I have showcased at several venues with the local crafting and art community.
We all search to find ways to deal with the difficult issues we face in this crazy world. I'm a recent college graduate transitioning into the real world with the help and support of a wonderful family and great friends. My creative writing has helped work through many challenging times. I have worked hard to overcome many personal barriers and truly believe that my writing has helped me to organize my thoughts which have lead to my becoming a stronger person. I would encourage anyone to try writing when things get too much to handle and its hard to slow the spin that becomes your thoughts.
I now write in a professional setting as well. It is interesting to learn to express my creativity in new ways while learning new career building skills at the same time. Some of my portfolio is highlighted on this site.
