The Long Road Of Nickelback won the following awards: Best Site Name; Best Unhosted; Best Layout; Best Older; Best Content; Best Fan Site; Best Web Master; and Best Overall. These awards means so much to me, because they represent to me how many loyal visitors The Long Road Of Nickelback series of websites have! Voting is most likely to start sometime in late July for Confucious Web Awards: Season 12, so I hope you all vote as you did for the dominance of Season 11, as I am confirmed in 10 categories for Season 12! In other site news, The Long Road Of Nickelback: MSN Group now holds the record for having the largest community of Nickelback fans on MSN Groups with 137 members from 139 days online, that's 27 members more than the second largest community of Nickelback fans on MSN Groups, but in 1 year and 6 and a half months faster...What an achievement!
June 24th 2005 - The voting for Season 11 of the Confucious Web Awards has begun! The Long Road Of Nickelback is nominated this time in 9 categories! Nomination categories include: Best Site Name, Best Un-Hosted, Best Layout, Best Older, Best Content, Best Fan, Best Network, Best Webmaster and Best Overall! I plead that you all go and vote for it, because without the votes, it's impossible for me to win any of these 9 awards - I really appreciate the votes from the last season when I won the Best Overall Site award, so please vote again for The Long Road Of Nickelback in all of the 9 categores it is nominated in this time, too. Think of all the effort I have put into these websites & the MSN Groups, this would be a huge favour in return. June 22nd 2005 - The Contender finale 2 hours long episode was the best yet! It included full coverage of a fight between Jesse Brinkley Vs Alfonso Gomez for 3rd place, and with that $200,000! The final between Peter Manfredo Junior and Sergio "The Latin Snake" Mora was amazing! Sergio "The Latin Snake" Mora won the fight for The Contender Belt and $1,000,000! However, the panel of commentators including Sylvester Stallone, Sugar Ray Leonard and Alfonso Gomez was saying that it could be dead even! There were also other fights voted for by the public on Yahoo! that took place before the Jesse Brinkley Vs Alfonso Gomez fight. Expect to see more about all the fights from The Contender and the re-matches on this site, but give it time as it would take a lot of time to cover every fight.
June 13th 2005 - The final 2 boxers for the final are now: Peter Manfredo Junior and Sergio "The Latin Snake" Mora! This fight will be shown on ITV2 tonight at 9:30PM and is repeated on ITV1 on Friday at around 11PM! The finale episode will be 2 hours long!
June 5th 2005 - The final 3 boxers for the semi-finals are now: Jesse Brinkley, Peter Manfredo Junior and Sergio "The Latin Snake" Mora! This fight will be shown on ITV2 this Monday at 9:30PM and is repeated on ITV1 on Friday at around 11PM!
May 28th 2005 - The final 4 boxers for the semi-finals are now: Alfonso Gomez, Jesse Brinkley, Peter Manfredo Junior and Sergio "The Latin Snake" Mora! This fight will be shown on ITV2 this Monday at 9:30PM and is repeated on ITV1 on Friday at around 11PM!
May 27th 2005 - Hi everyone - Thanks for voting! The Long Road Of Nickelback has won the Best Overall Award at the Confucious Web Awards! Go visit the Confucious Web Awards Winners Page and scroll down to the Best Overall Award! This award means so much to me, because it is my first Web Award and the first time I was nominated for a Web Award, too! Voting is most likely to start sometime in June for Confucious Web Awards: Season 11, so I hope you all vote as you did for the Best Overall Category, as there is a chance I may be entered into more categories for Season 11, as I have nominated The Long Road Of Nickelback earlier than I did for Season 10. By default, the final fight of Round 2 is between Anthony Bonsante and Jesse Brinkley! This fight will be shown on ITV2 this Monday at 9PM and is repeated on ITV1 on Friday at around 11PM!
