Sleeping Lady Stables

Pictured above is Mt. Susitna, located in Alaska. Susitna is also know as the "Sleeping Lady" and there is lore around the creation of this mountain. Sleeping Lady Stables was named for our love of our former home: Alaska.

     We are a small, family owned facility located in beautiful Deer Island, Oregon. We are focused on breeding and training sane, well-rounded horses that will be around for many years. Our foals are bred for conformation, disposition, color and size. We generally have a few prospects for sale, and plan to have bred mares on the market in early summer 2010.
