Sleds in September

We just received the great news and commitment from the the following :

  The Platters have given the Sleds in September Event Participants buy one get one free tickets to their show! The Platters will be coming to the Event in person, Sat morning, for photo opportunities -so have the car shined up and the camera ready to go !

  Andy Williams Theater just announced that The Sleds in September Event Participants will be offered buy one get one free tickets to the Righteous' Brothers Bill Medley and Paul Revere & The Raiders show.

We don’t show on Thursday but offer the following activities for parties interested in coming in early!

  Vehicle Registration - Gates Open at NOON for Registrants and Vendors ONLY

7:00 am till Noon – Golf at Murder Rock - $57 per person. Call Chris Meade at 417-332-3259 and let him know you are with Sleds in September to book your T time at this rate.

2:00 pm - Self Guided Tour of ‘57 Heaven for Sleds ( you can use your free ticket anytime the museum is open over the weekend!)

5:00pm – Special discount price for Legends in Concert – Save $10 per person with Sleds in September registration (Discount is available all weekend for show participants)

10:30 pm – Club ’57 – free admission to Sleds in September attendees - Live Entertainment till 1:30am

 9:00am   Vehicle Registration - Gates open for Registrants and Vendors

9:00 am till 5 pm - Open to the public – Show and Shine, Vendors, food & games

1:00 pm – Valve Cover Races – test and tune

5:00 pm – Dam cruise – take a scenic cruise with us “off the strip” 

6:30 -7:00pm – Cook out for Sleds in September registered participants –please RSVP by Sept 10th so we have enough food for everyone.  We will also be giving away some of the Door Prizes at supper!  We will be joined by THE PLATTERS! 

8:00 pm – (dusk) FREE Drive-In movie – Hot Rod Gang - with food & ice cold sodas and beer available

10:30 pm – Club ’57 – free admission to Sleds in September attendees - Live Entertainment till 1:30am

9:00 am - 3:00 pm -   Judging of Vehicles

11:00 am – Games - Valve cover races, hula-hoop, spark plug changing 

1:30 pm - Free Shuttle leaves Area 57 for the Branson Landing

4:30pm -  Free Shuttle picks up at Branson Landing for return to Area 57

5:00 pm till 7:00 pm – Live music with the Maxwells at AREA ‘57

8:30 pm – Party hosted in AREA ’57 with FREE Drive-In Movie – Running Wild - with food & ice cold sodas and beer available

10:30 pm (As soon as the movie is over) – Flame Throwing Contest !
