In 1988,  me and my family moved up to Kelowna, where we currently live today.I Have lived on my own now for 9 years. Before i moved out on my own i lived with my Mom my Brother and Step dad.

Family.

Well the most important thing to me is my family. I have my Mom and Dad who live in Kelowna, and one brother who lives in, Bridgeport,Ct.  . Also my aunt and grandma who also lives in Kelowna.I really don't know what i'd do without my family, they've helped me though countless health and personal issues which i thank them for. I also have family in Sasktchewan and Alberta.

My Hobbies

Well, i love to camp every summer. Also i'm on my computer all the time chattin' it up with friends and family. I do like to fish to, whenever i can. Recently i have taken up Sledge hockey which i'm passionate about, but i will leave a full paragraph for that. Along with those hobbies i also enjoy getting outside for a nice walk once in a while, i must admit i don't do it Near enough though.

Sledge hockey

Sledge hockey is a game designed for the disabled and non disabled alike. It's almost exactly like stand up ice hockey, only on a sledge, which is basically a sled with skate blades on the bottom. Also sledge hockey players use two mini hockey sticks, with picks at the top of them, we propel ourselves with the picks, and when we get to the puck, we turn one of the picks over, and hit the puck with the hockey stick blade at the bottom.I'm the coach of our local team here in kelowna, we are trying to put a team of 23 together for next year. If anyone from Penticton,Vernon or Kelowna whats to play, we play at Rutland arena in Kelowna,September to march. Please e-mail me if your interested.  Everyone is welcome to play, disabled or not.

Rick Hansen Ambassador program.

I am also involved with the Rick Hansen ambassador program, which i have been happily involved with for two years now. My job is bassically to inform the public what the Rick Hansen foundation dose, and see that we get people out to our annual "wheel, walk and run" for a cure for Spinal cord injuries. Our annual walk is on June 11 of every year, in kelowna it starts in front of the Grand Hotel.Contact me if u want to run or wheel or walk in this very important cause.

Oldtimers Hockey Challenge

I'd like to give a special hello to the Oldtimers hockey team. This team is comprised of ex-NHL stars. They have been kind enough to help fund for two wheelchairs for me, Which i could never have afforded myself. So i would like to say a big thank you.
