*11/11/04 (7:38 P.M.) OMG! Joe's updated his site ... twice in a month! what's going on?!? well, I came back from a meeting with my "debate group" as falisha and christina call it, but since we didn't have much to work on any more, we just hung out, which was (as kyle hoops would say) "pretty chill" Afterwards, I drove over to Anaheim Hills Elementary and ran around in the trails for 30 minutes or so, at which point it got frickin dark and scary being alone way up there ... ANYWAYS drove home, worked on lame AP comp sci hw ... wanted to play computer games ... but instead listened to Van Halen ... talked to people ... etc ... someday i'll get back to actually making funny flash stuff. Maybe i should post some of the stuff i've done in java for my class =)
*11/05/04 (3:33 P.M.) Well. All too soon, cross country season is over. Because I peaked 2 weeks ago (meaning i was running at my best) and not wednesday, I ran faster (18:11) at a much harder course (hills, no warm up because chris g., sandesh, and I had to take the PSAT and we got there right when the race started basically) than at league (18:17) so i was kinda bummed, but i knew it was gonna happen, so it was alright. Chris gow flew though, im frickin proud of him (16:54 or something!!!). Just so you know, I'm finally updating this because JARED BANNER gave me such a hard time about not doing anything to this site. Ummm ... wrestling season is starting, which i really don't want to have to do, but we'll see. Today was my first day back, and boy did it bite. At least I only weighed 138 lbs or something, and that was WITH eating for the past week. I figure i can drop 10 lbs or so, but im not sure where we have openings on varsity, so i'll just have to figure it out. I'd like to congratulate our girls cross country team though, they totally dominated, and caught the bacon (as they would say) GOOD LUCK AT CIF GIRLS! Thanks kyle hoops, Ovatch, sandburg, roger, brownie #1 and brownie #2 (fine fine ... suvin and sandesh ...) brent (the guy i slept with ... yeah ... don't ask ...) travis, blausey (holy cow you're going so totally fast! just don't go "aww f(_)ck") kurtis, chase ( <3 ) greg (where the hell were you today at wrestling practice? darn it ...) and whoever the heck else i forgot on the team ... i'll add you later if you remind me. So ... anyone else think that junior year is easier than sophomore year? I mean, im pulling freshman year all over again ... playing game boy during class, not doing much hw ... you know what i mean. well, thanks a lot to everyone who keeps putting up with me! <3
*09/17/04 (6:00 P.M.) Yes! Friday night! I have the first big race of the cross country season, and i'm actually pumped for it. (i finally found out that one song from a night at the roxbury is called "What is Love" by Haddaway ... FINALLY! i've been looking for that song forever!) so i got a midi for that, and moved my "another one bites the dust" midi to the everquest 2 page. Also, the annual San Antonio fair is this weekend, and im gonna go get showered and head out in an hour or two. ttyl! (no hw for once! (actually there is, but im gonna forget about it until after the race tomorrow) )
*09/03/04 (12:23 P.M.) (The picture above ^ (that's an arrow pointing up by the way ...) is something i made in 2 seconds in Freehand MX last night. See below post for details)Well, summer is ending, and throughout all three months, I didn't once try to update this site. (Except for that Everquest 2 page ... but I dunno whether to stick to FFXI (Final Fantasy 11) , WoW (World of Warcraft), or EQ2 ... /sigh) Also, due to some nasty in-fighting, Onyx Velven is no more, but pretty much everyone re-joined into a new linkshell group, Bloodmoon. (I have no idea whether or not they have a website yet ...). I haven't worked with flash at all this summer, but I was having a lot of fun with 30-day trial versions of Adobe Illustrator CS (which I used first, and has long since expired) and Macromedia Freehand MX. I think I like Illustrator more, but that may be because I'm more familiar with it. (19 more days of Freehand MX left). A buncha cool stuff, but since the trial ended on Illustrator I can't export any of the files. I'm hoping to get the "education" version (which means if i use it to make money im dead) Illustrator, but we'll see. Cross Country season is pretty much in full swing, and that means I'm as tired as usual again. Also, I have like, 2000000000 summer assignments to do still ... /sigh ... Well, I'm off to work ... cya! (I just realized that pretty much every post ends with me saying I have ass-loads of work to do ... /sigh)
*06/06/04 (11:37 P.M) Another few months of doing nothing ... Well, I guess not ... I finished track, got my car (Yay for the 350Z!) and my grades didn't fall as far as I had feared. Only one week left of school, so this last week should be heck ... Also, I found out that my linkshell in Final Fantasy 11 has a website at http://onyxvelven.tripod.com It isn't too exciting yet, but it will certainly be cool in a bit. Also, I have two new ideas for more flash. (You have to admit, they are getting better!) I may post the rough draft to the first one tomorrow. I better get back to work ...
*03/30/04 (10:30 P.M.) Well then ... I do realize that I have done absolutely nothing with this site since about the beginning of Wrestling season ... but thank goodness that Track season is about halfway done. Anyways ... I talked to Emmy Yu for the first time in a year or two, and it was a lot of fun. The problem is that I have to write my whole English essay for our Much Ado About Nothing final ... in one night. Tommorrow morning I get to put together my Chemistry notebook, but we have late start ("Be at school at 9:50!" (We all know I'll be there on time ... right?)) Anyways ... I better get going so all the potential extra hours of sleep won't be wasted (It may be too late). BTW ... Yo no recomiendo que ustedes participen en mas de uno deporte. If that is correct spanish i'll be amazed, since I'm dead tired. (Too much Senora Barger!! Well, thank goodness spring break is here) Anyways, I must once again be going ... so no more typing ... Most of the time im there for him to grab on to and pull down too, but I saved myself from that here. *9/14/03 (10:49P.M.) Soooo .... I'm pretty tired .. coach is killing us. It's sunday ... and I already wish the weekend was here. nothing new, just wanted to say I'm still alive and have a new idea, but it'll take some time. I was messing around with some of my flash, but pretty much destroyed it all, so I'll need to fix it. I doubt i'll ever get the Adventures of Joe up, but they were so easy to make I may just make them as a flash. (hmmm .... good idea!) Oh yeah, my sister made a site, www.freewebs.com/doll_dreamz It's pretty cool, and probably better than mine. (It's because she has more time!!!) She just told me to add some backrounds/music to my pages, so I'm off to do that ... Crikey! I also have English to do ... and it's already 11 ... ay yai yai ...
