My story begun one day in 1986...I saw a great dane who springed over a hedge-row in the garden. He jumped it with elegance and grace. Then I fell in love with this breed and started to dream about my own dane. One year later I had it
He was a black male, called Wickey, to the same dog's name I had seen in the garden. Wickey was a lovable and very devoted to me friend and he had a good relationship with my other dog Johnny - mixed breed, with ring-shaped tail. They both was amazing companion each other. We loved to walk together with my bicycle and all forests was ours. I loss Wickey at his 8 years age, he passed away from stomach and liver illness.
So...Johnny was not alone for long. I bought a mantle female dane, called Deina. She was very playful and romping dog, who never left me to be bored
. At his 8 years age, Johnny learned her to all tricks,he had derived from his mixed ancestors...But Deina realized one of my biggest life-dreams - to have more mantle danes. She gave birth to five mantle and two black puppies. And what a wonder - they was born in 5th of June 1998 - in the same date three years ago I loss Wickey...All puppies were playful and romping, just like their mother ( I called that , for joke, 'Deina-gene').
Deina with some "deina-gene" puppies...
