Marion Dies, of Silver Lake,
has had a lifelong interest in art making, working in acrylics, oils, pastels,
and printmaking.
She graduated with a Bachelor of
Fine Arts degree from the University
of Texas in Austin.
After graduation, she moved to Los Angeles
and continued taking art classes at UCLA, USC, Otis Art Institute, Art Center
School of Design, and Glendale
College, while working in
the entertainment industry as a Scenic Artist.
With an extensive fine arts
background, she has contributed her talent to the media of television, film, theater,
themed entertainment, restaurant and retail interiors, as well as private home
commissions. Marion
has produced works for many TV and movie studios: Warner Bros, Disney,
Universal, Los Angeles
theatre and Opera productions, as well as murals at a number of private homes
and restaurants. She is currently at
work on murals for Cheesecake Factory restaurants. Many of these works can be

She is also a member of the Pasadena Society
of Fine Artists, and the Los Angeles Printmaking Society.
