We are Slap to the Industry. We are a group that believes in the following things:
Well, you might think that the above statements are not entirely true. I assure you, that we have done research that proves the opposite. One contributor to the Slap to the Industry team did research on the affects of aspertane, used as a sugar substitute in diet soda products, on the human brain. He found that when aspertane and caffeine react in the human body, they can actually form nuerotoxins, a chemical that hinders the ability to think and learn. Why do soda companies use aspertane you might ask? Because it is less expensive than products like splenda. Also, in the past 5 years alone, production companies such as Dreamworks have purchased the rights to Batman, Superman, Spiderman, and most recently, the Fantastic Four. Many would believe that the companies who buy the rights to these original comic series would have the respect to do the film justice, and be true to the original comics. Not so. In fact, it is fair to say that when Warner Brothers took over the rights to Superman, they completely disrespected the original comic. Also, another complete showing of disrespect made by Warner Brothers was the complete purchased rights to make films for all 7 Harry Potter novels. In the past 5 films, the directors made grave changes to the plot that ended up screwing up the entire septology of the films, cut out whole scenes and characters, and made a mockery of the entire series. Why do companies do things like cut out entire characters? Because it SAVES THEM MONEY.
