Manchester City have secured the services of Malian striker Amadou Konte.
The 25 year old Malian has joined the Manchester side for free after being released by SPL side Hibernian.
The striker never made himself a first team regualr at Easter Road but was dubbed the "Mali Magician" by Hibs fans.
Man City have been short of strikers after long term injuries to Georgios Samaras and Darius Vassell.
Manager Stuart Pearce said "We are delighted that Big Amadou has agreed to join us as we've been a bit short up front recently"
Konte refused to comment but is said to be "extremely happy" at joining such a big club and playing in the Premiership
