Skye's Soy Candles

I started my business when my mom bought me a soy kit for Christmas back in 2005. I hadn't really heard much about soy candles before. So I sat down and researched the candles. I was really amazed!!!

Soy is so much better than those cheapy paraffin wax candles you can buy at retail stores.  They are loaded with tons of chemicals that can harm us and our families. No wonder they are so cheap!!  Why would you want to burn a candle like that?

I have always loved to burn candles myself, even before I learned how to make them. I used to burn the paraffin wax candles but I didn't know then what I know now. I wouldn't pay one cent for them. Everytime I used to burn a paraffin candle I would get a really bad headache and an upset stomach. I always thought it is was the candle scents I was buying. Well, I burn the same scents in my soy candles and NO MORE HEADACHES and UPSET STOMACH!!!!

The first time I lit one of my soy candles. I was truley amazed at how they burned and the scent that came from them. I love to sit and watch them burn because it is so peaceful. If your wax ever spills all you need to clean it up is soap and water.  You can't get that from a paraffin wax candle. Good luck trying to clean up that mess!!!

Another reason why I choose to do the soy candles is...Why not support a farmer? It's already bad enough that our money keeps going to all these foreign countries. Why not keep your money at home? Each time you buy one of my candles the money stays here in the USA!!  Gives you something to think about!!

Every time you buy a paraffin wax candle. Your money is going to some foreign country.  Paraffin is a petrolum by product.  This contributes to the dependency of CRUDE OIL. This also supports Exxon,Foreign oil, and the middle east. Don't these places get enough money from us in our gas prices???

I am a stay at home mother of Skyelee, my three year old daughter. We named our business after her. If it wasn't for her I wouldn't get to stay home and do what I do. I love being home with her and I love making my handmade & hand poured 100% soybean candles. All my candles are handmade with love.
