Experienced in gesture poses, between one and five minutes, ten minute poses and long poses. Since 2004 I have been working with several animation schools and computer gaming companies and have developed a repertoire of dynamic action poses.

My modelling 'career' first began way back in 1984, when naturist photographer, Mike Herring, developed some of my holiday photos and contacted me with a view to hiring the model I had used. As most of the photos were either self portraits or taken by my wife, I was flattered to realize that he meant me! After several successful photographic sessions with Mike, both on location and in his studio,I decided that an alternative career might be beckoning me.

A New Experience

 I have a very busy schedule with my fine art modeling in the schools, colleges, drawing groups and animation studios in Vancouver. I have also been expanding my photographic modeling portfolio by working for the Vancouver Photo Workshop and Focal Point Studios and recently began modelling for the Nude Photography programme of one of my local colleges where I work as a figue model. Although I have modelled for Photographic Workshops before, they have all usually been focussed on either the Nude Portrait or the Nude in the Environment. So it was quite a new experience to be involved in classes where the sudents had to use set themes for their work.

The first of these was Motion, where I was captured in varyng degrees of movement. I've added a new album to this site with the results from one of the students,photographer Pamela Westerman, who has her own website showing more of her diverse photographic talent at www.aspects.ca

I am currently working with a student photographer on a Nude Food Book project and also busy with my figure modelling for the animation schools and Summer Schools, as well as the photography schools in Vancouver. I've just added a new page with some work from a recent class at Focal Point.
