Critter of the Month:
Javalina

Javalinas live in the Southwestern USA. They have poor eyesight but a good sense of smell. These wild pigs often come into yards or rest of the side of driveways like the 1 above. See the Arizona Wilderness page.
I recomend these field guides:
National Audubon Society Field Guide to Insects and Spiders * National Audubon Society Field Guide to North American Mammals * National Audubon Society Field Guide to North American Reptiles and Amphibians * Stoke's Field Guide to Birds: Eastern Region * National Geographic Field Guide to Birds of North America

This website was started in 2007 when I was 15. I needed a place to post all of my nature photos and also share some info of the wildlife out there. Around 2008 I started studying & photographing wild birds and found nearly 70 species on my property. As a junior in high school I took a photography class and the following Christmas I got a Nikon D60 dslr camera and immediately began taking tons of improved photos of wildlife.
