Skuff'd Shoes started as the brain child of high school pals Lance and Dave - O. Together they began writing songs and recruiting members to create a super cool ska band. From within the ranks of their high school band Lance recruited Bryan and Bryan and Matt to play trombone and tenor sax and bass respecitively. They recruited Adam, some random kid they saw at every ska show and happened to also play alto sax. Finally, from the depths of the hXc underworld they recruited Lugo to play drums. With this line up finally in place, they were ready to rock.

And rock they did. Locked away in Matt's garage, the new group practiced and tuned their rock and roll skills. After a month of practice, they were ready to reveal themselves to the outside world.

But what to name themselves ? For such a super group, they must have a super name. Many names were tossed about but in the end, they chose Skuff'd Shoes. But why that many ask ? Well, no one likes ska anymore just like no one likes an old pair of shoes. But the few who do still like it, cherish just like certain people cherish old shoes. Or in short, we just like to dance. A lot.
