Saturday Party This is the first of many bulletins to tell you all about the epic adventure in the Skuff'd Shoes saga. On this Saturday - Saturday November 19th - Skuff'd Shoes will play it's first public show in the Boca Raton Battle of the Bands. This contest is huge. There is much needed prize money and real people are judging are music. It would mean a lot to us if you showed up and supported us. It both helps us in the contest and as a band by showing the judges and music people that ska is still a force and can draw a crowd. If this happens, we could find more shows and maybe, just maybe create a music scene filled with more than screamo bands. So please tell your friends. Please bring friends. Please bring posters and shirts and ect. Skuffd Shoes P.S. The Battle of the Bands is hosted at City Hall near the Library. The show starts at 5. We go on around 6.

October 29 - Welcome to the Hurricane Center
Hurricane Wilma blows. 

Basically, our next two shows are postponed.  We haven't practiced in a while and none of us have power.  I'm writing from a hotel room in Orlando.

So wish us luck as we embark on our attempt to pull off some sort of performance for Battle of the Bands.

October 13 - Teen Cabaret 
So we have two shoes before the big battle of the bands show.

One is the Boca High Fun Lunch which we'll be playing for half an hour and is only open to Boca High students. 

The other is Teen Cabaret which is a huge deal.  Basically, we get to play for 8 minutes or approximately two song.  Why this is so big is that we get a video of the performance and the performance is featured on BRET for a month!

So basically, everyone must go to the Teen Cabaret show.  It's a dollar.  One dollar.  You can collect change from now till then and have enough.  So everyone start collecting that change and learn the words to our songs and get ready to rock!

October 2 - Battle of the Bands
As seen by the show section, we made it into the Battle of the Bands final! 

Basically, this means start making shirts that say how much you love us, learn all the words to our songs and mark the date on your calender.
