Surge is a great citrus-flavored soda formerly made by the Coca-Cola company. "Urge", as SURGE was called overseas, originaly debued around early '96 making it overseas in Europe, Africa, Asia, Australia, and South America even before it came to the United States. When it came to the U.S.A in January of '97 it had a new name and at first, did great. But by February of 2001, Surge was almost totally gone and no longer bottled by over 95% of all U.S. bottlers. Surge had been dumped for Mello Yello. Now,( January 2004 ) Surge is almost totally gone and slowly dying. But, if we can we want to bring it back as soon as possible and we need to bring it back to life. Right now it is only in some fountain machines located in numerous K-mart K-cafes and Chucky Cheeses. But even they are dumping it for Mello Yello. Mello Yello is great but it is no Surge.  Go to www.savesurge.org and sign a petition to bring back Surge soda. IT WILL BE BACK AND VERY VERY SOON. IT IS ALL UP TO US!
