News
4/28/08: And now it's 2008! Haha. *is terrible*
+ Fair Warning: Most of this site will be moved over to my own personal subdomain, once I finally get the content organized and sent over to my good friend who's webmistressing for me. :D The new domain will get linked once there's more up there to see.
+ Already a few fic updates for the new year: "Resilience" (Bleach) is now complete, "Crossfire" got an update, and a few one-shots ("In the Breakdown"//Bleach, "The Exception of What Could Be"//Fullmetal Alchemist, "The List"//Tengen Toppa Gurren-Lagann). All are added to the fanworks section with links and such.
+ Sevensmith also got a few updates. 8D
+ Updates to the Fave Series section as well. 8D
I think that's all for now. I won't even try to say I'll work on updating here better, because it just ain't happening. BUT! I have by no means abandoned doing this stuff. Yet. There also will be an overhaul to the Fic Recs section once I get it up in its new location, just for a head's up. >_>

Welcome to The Futon!
I named this site mainly with the idea that I do most of my writing
work on my laptop while sitting on my futon. I have this little
custom-made table that goes with my room theme and sits nicely on top
of (or next to) my futon and is the perfect size for my laptop and random food clutter. >D
I created this site originally to have a place to hopefully one day
host my own works. I didn't think I'd actually get around to setting up
the full site quite so soon, but I got SO sick of dealing with
mainstream readers at the larger sites that I went ahead and got
started on it. Once all my works are hosted here, I might
delete
everything from the major sites I host my stories at. Maybe. We'll see.
But even if I do delete my works from the big sites, I will continue
to review and favorite stories at FanFiction(dot)net and probably LiveJournal(dot)com as well. X3
This site is still under construction. Please be patient - I plan to
upload all my own stories to my sites, make everything look the way I
want it to, get the links working properly, and make sure I run a
decent site. I'm HORRIBLE with HTML, so my dear friend angelica
incarnate (of many sites) offered to help me with the nitty gritty. I'm
still trying to figure out how to host my stories so they have the page
layout I want for them. May have to make ANOTHER site just so I can
have an option to edit my pages with raw HTML (can't do that here 'cuz
I'm using a bloody template and am horrid at complex HTML). *sob*
At some point, I might start a mailing list for when I
update - for my fanfiction, story recommendations, and series recommendations - if anyone would be interested. But only if I choose to archive my fiction here.
Ah, but those are just
mere plans for now. At this time, feel free to browse around the
several sites I've linked to showcase my work. The other sites are far
from complete, but at least the main page is up at each one.
All questions, comments, feedback, etc. can be directed to me via
e-mail. If you'd like to comment on my drabbles, please use my Delle
Reed e-mail.
Oh, and be a dear and sign the guestbook, mmkay? <3 If you have a question

Old News
2007. Learned that Rinja = very lazy. Various updates to site. Updated "Bloodwynd", "Resilience", "Fortitude" (two-shot), "Crossfire" (new!), several ficlets and a fic collection for a LJ challenge (@ ichi_ruki), and an original piece based off webcomic Sevensmith. Sevensmith got updated! Took home a couple awards at MediaMiner's 2007 Maximum Challenge contest, entered the world of LJ-style RP (mostly Bleach). Tried and failed NaNoWriMo. Started working on new site at own subdomain. Replaced old laptop with new one (yay~!).
2006. Rinja turned 21 and spent 4 months studying abroad in Japan. Lots of site-overhaul, such as the Affiliates Page, a new Fiction Recommendations Page, and lots of updates to almost every section. Updated "Fullmetal Paradox", "Desperation", "A Strong Will" (new version), "Seven Years" (now available only on LJ), and "Hellbound". New stories: "Bloodwynd" (RK, incomplete), "Hourglass" (IY, incomplete), "Endurance" (Bleach, completed), "Resilience" (Bleach, incomplete), "Dream Snatcher" (Yumekui Kenbun), and various one-shots. Began cracking down with artist Varethane on upcoming webcomic "Sevensmith". Started several LJ communities and a Bleach C2.
2005.
Extensive updates in Fanfiction, Recommended Fictions, Bio pages,
Favorite Series, site navigation, site revamp and extension, etc. Also,
all fanworks temporarily removed in October/November were slowly
re-uploaded. New story in the FMA fandom ("The Fullmetal Paradox").
8/10/05. Site opens.
