Kitsemble's Rabbitry

Mini Lop and Rex Rabbits

Rex Bucks

First Place Broken Jr. Buck and Doe at 2008 ARBA Convention in Louisville, Kentucky.

Kitsemble's Ceajay, GC:  Ceajay is a beautiful buck who won first place Jr. Buck at the Convention in Louisville!  I had only wanted to do castors and then he came along!  Ceajay has 5 legs.  He was also BOSV in show #1 the day after Rex Nationals 2009!  His first litter produced a really nice blue and broken blue who did well at the Rex Nationals in Sedalia.  I will definitely use him again and he is here to stay!

Kitsemble's Divo:  A really nice broken castor buck who has done very well for me so far.  He has a BOB win, show #2 the day after Rex Nationals 2009, and 2 BOS wins!  He is out of Rene and Cole.  I hope to show him more this fall.

Tom, winter 2009

Tom, summer 2009

Kitsemble's Tom, GC:  This buck was a late bloomer, but has turned out very nice.  He won BOS at his first show in November!  I plan to use him for future breedings.  Tom is solid and has excellent bone.  I decided to name him in memory of Tom McMeeken.  Tom also won BOB at the Upper Midwest Rex Show #1 in March!  Tom now has 1 BOB and 2 BOS's.  My 2 litters of Rex juniors are both out of him.

Kitsemble's Caleb, GC:  He was the 2nd place Castor Jr. Buck in Lousiville (to the BOS winner).  Caleb is a very friendly rabbit!  I am hoping he will become a more agressive breeder, so I can get some babies out of him!  He has 3 BOV legs.  Caleb also won BOS at one of the Spring Fling shows.  Tom and Caleb are littermates.

Rex Does

Kitsemble's Taylor, GC:  She was the first place Broken Jr. Doe in Louisville!  I was very surprised and excited.  She is a very nice doe and I am hoping to show her a bit more in the spring.  She also won 2 BOV's in Janesville in November!  Taylor also won BOB at the Lakeland show in February 2009!  She has earned 5 legs.  Taylor has a litter of 8 babies by Tom!

Kitsemble's Diva:  I really like this doe and her brother a lot.  She won BEST IN SHOW at the Spring Fling 6/7/09!!!  This was our first ever BIS with a Rex, and at my favorite show of the year.  Diva has 2 BOB's and 1 BOS.  I hope I will be able to show her again this fall.

Kitsemble's Jodi:  Jodi was the 5th place Broken Jr. Doe in Louisville!  I had liked her all fall, but this was the first time she placed very well.  I really like her fur!  She is a very friendly rabbit.  Jodi has a litter of 3 babies with Tom, they are very cute!

Kitsemble's Carlie:  Carlie was my pick of the Marissa Too's first litter.  She developed later, but has turned out very nice.  Carlie has one leg for a BOV win.  She currently has a litter of 3 babies (8 were born) with 68KS!

Kitsemble's Cristina:  Another very nice castor doe!  She is the littermate to Carolyn and Cory, out of Dierks and Gerlach's Jean.  Cristina first litter with John Doe produced Ceajay.  She currently has 3 babies with Ceajay.

Kitsemble's Rene:  A very promising doe, very nice type and fur.  She is also broken castor, my favorite color!  Unfortunately, she could never be shown because she has no nose marking.  Her first litter produced Taylor, Tiffany, and Tracy.  She currently has a litter of 3 with Cole.

Older Rex

Kitsemble's Cory:  Winner of BOV Castor at the 2007 ARBA Convention in Grand Rapids!  Unfortunately, I lost him before I could get any babies out of him.  His littermates are Carolyn and Cristina.

Kitsemble's Marissa Too, GC:  She placed 1st of 5 Castor Sr. Does at the 2006 ARBA Convention!  She is named after my first ever castor doe because they have the same ear number.  I have two very nice daughters out of her, Isadora and Carlie.  She has 3 BOV wins and is a GC with 4 legs.

Kitsemble's Dierks, GC:  He was the "matriarch" of our current castor herd.  He has 3 legs and was BOS at a 2005 Rex Specialty Show!  Many of our castors are out of him.  This picture doesn't show his true color.

Kitsemble's Jane Doe:  Winner of four BOB's back in 2002 and 2003!  Jill and Jane Doe are actually sisters, just born at different times.  She will be living out all her days at our rabbitry.  Jane Doe turned 7, April 2009.

Kitsemble's Jill: Winner of  BOV Broken Open at 2002 ARBA Convention in Peoria, Illinois!  She was named after my good friend Jill Coussens.

Kitsemble's Columbus:  Winner of BOS Youth at the 2000 ARBA Convention in Columbus, Ohio!
