Kitsemble's Rabbitry

Mini Lop and Rex Rabbits

Mini Lop Bucks

Kitsemble's Stan:  Stan is an upcoming buck that I really like.  His top winning was 3rd place Solid Jr. Buck in Grand Rapids.  He also has a leg for 1st of 18 in September 2007.  Stan is out of Sarabeth and Madore.  Stan has his first litter with Jenny!

Kitsemble's Jared:  Jared is a nice upcoming broken buck.  I love his depth/width balance and bone.  He placed 18th Broken Jr. Buck in Grand Rapids and 1st of 18 and BOSV in September.  Jared is out of Ruby Sue and Wade and just produced his first litter.  Jared wins BOB and BOS Memorial Day weekend 2008!

Kitsemble's Madore:  Madore is a very nice buck, who keeps getting better with age.  He placed 6th Broken Sr. Buck in Forth Worth in 2006 and 9th place Broken Sr. Buck in Grand Rapids!  Madore also placed 13th both days in Kentucky.  His sons placed 3rd and 5th in Grand Rapids.  Madore is out of Elegance and Jason.  He has 2 litters in the nestbox now!

Kitsemble's K105:  I will probably end up naming him Jason Jr.  He is out of Jerldean and Jason and was born last winter.  He placed 4th Solid Jr. Buck the day after 2008 Mini Lop Nationals!  I really like this little guy and am looking forward to showing him more.  Notice how similar he looks to Gus and Grady (below) who are also out of Jerldean.

Kitsemble's Sam:  Sam is a beautiful buck who was 1st place in Grand Rapids!  He is out of Lynette and her father Joshua.  I really like his short body and roundness, he is a small buck.  He wasn't ready to be a dad in the fall, so I am hoping for litters in 2008.

Kitsemble's Gus:  Another buck that I really like, he has very nice type and excellent fur and condition.  Gus is out of Jerldean and Wade.  He placed 21st in Grand Rapids.  He won BOB at the Missouri State Conv. in December and has some top 5 places in large classes here in WI.  He has 5 babies in the nextbox with Melinda.

Gus is For Sale

Kitsemble's Grady:  Grady and Gus are littermates.  He placed 14th Solid Jr. Buck in Grand Rapids.  At the Janesville Mini Lop show 11/07 he placed 1st of 18 and BOS of 66.  I think these two brothers have a lot of potential, Jerldean throws such nice babies.

Kitsemble's Mason:  Mason and Mitch are littermates out of May and Marty.  I really like his short body and his fur.  He has done well under limited showing this spring.  Mason won BOS at the Badger RBA show 3/08 and was the 13th place Broken Sr. Buck at 2008 Mini Lop Nationals.  Mason wins BOB at Spring Fling #1 on June 7th under Armando Cabrera!

Kitsemble's Apolo:  Apolo is a very nice buck who will be used in upcoming breedings.  He was the 1st place Solid Jr. Buck the day after 2007 Mini Lop Nationals.  Apolo has one BOB and two BOV wins.  He is named after the speedskater Apolo Anton Ohno.  He has a litter of 6 with Gabby right now including 4 chins!

Mini Lop Bucks

Kitsemble's Noah ~ 11 legs, GC: This beautiful buck had a great show career before he became one of our main herd bucks.  His winnings include 1st place Broken Jr. Buck @ the 2005 National Mini Lop Show in Columbus, Ohio, and 2nd place in the Ohio State Convention, the day after.  He was also the 3rd place Broken Sr. Buck @ the 2005 ARBA Convention in Indy.  He has produced several winners over the last couple years, including 6 of his children who placed in the top 10 in Texas.  Noah continues to be one of my favorites.

Kitsemble's CowboyThe BIG winner in Fort Worth!  I already have one litter out of him and they look very promising.  His babies did very good in Kentucky, placing 4th (two different does), and two won their classes in the Sunday show.  He placed 9th in the Sunday show in Kentucky.  Cowboy is the #7 Open TOP LOP 2006-2007 Mini Lop Rabbit Club of America!

New pictures of Wade!  Head shot: I love his head!

Kitsemble's Wade ~ GC: Wade is a cute little guy who won BIS as a junior in May 2005, and placed 12th of 85 at the 2005 ARBA Convention.  He is nice and small, very short, and has a huge head.  He has lots of babies in the nestbox.  Wade wins 1st of 18 and BOSV on June 7th at 3.5 years old!  Pretty good for an old man!

New picture of Zeus

Kitsemble's Zeus: I love this buck's extremely short body and depth.  He is out of Marty and Jenny.  Zeus placed 6th Solid Sr. Buck in Texas!  He placed 15th at 2007 Mini Lop Nationals in Kentucky and 16th in Grand Rapids.  At the 2008 Mini Lop Nationals, he was the 2nd place Solid Sr. Buck of 67!  He looked great and also placed 9th in the Sunday show.  Look for new babies from him soon.

Zeus is Sold.

Kitsemble's JosiahThis guy is the brother to Cowboy and was also 1st in Texas.  He produced 2 litters in the spring of 2007 with some nice babies.

Josiah is Sold.

Jared's JamalJamal is a very nice buck I got from Jared when he sold out of rabbits, his father is a sable I sold to Jared and mother is Sue, a steel doe.  He has done very well showing and is VERY friendly.  I am keeping him for a pet and occassional breeding.

Good Old Boys

Kitsemble's Jonas ~ 7 legs:  This good old boy has produced quite a few winners.  His biggest wins were 4th place Solid Sr. Buck at 2005 Mini Lop Nationals and 5th place "the day after".  He will be living out his retirement here and getting bred back to some of his granddaughters.

Kitsemble's Jason ~ 8 legs, GC:  It's time to move Jason to the good old boys page.  Jason is most famous for his BOS win at the 2004 ARBA Convention in Providence, Rhode Island.  He was used excessively in our breeding program and is on the pedigrees of most of our rabbits 2 or 3 times.  Jason is definitely here to stay.

Happy Birthday!  Jason is now 5 years old!

Kitsemble's Nelly ~ 11 legs:  This boy is here to stay and is enjoying retirement.  He did very well showing for a long time and has produced many great babies.  Jonas is one of his sons.  Nelly is now 5 years old, 9/11/07, and still looks pretty good.  Nelly and Gabby had a litter 11/07.

Kitsemble's Peyton:  Even though he is no longer with us, I had to put up his picture anyways.  He got his name from Lindsey who used to like Peyton Manning when he played for Tennessee in college because his colors are the school's colors, which goes to show how old he is!  He is pictured in the 2001 Mini Lop Guidebook and all Broken Mini Lop trophies given away at the 2003 Mini Lop Nationals!
