Hello my fellow Counter-Strikers and welcome to my website. My name is Payback. I have been a dedicated player since CS 1.3. I created this site because I am a huge fan of the CS MOD Community. I have been downloading skins and maps since the 1.3 days. On my quest for the ultimate Custom Counter-Strike setup, I have encountered a lot of bad skins, bad maps and misleading information. My goal for this site is to give you quality information on CS 1.6 skins, maps, and links.

As you know, STEAM has recently releasd Counter-Strike 1.6, so there is not much out there in the CS MOD community. After an intense search I have found only two modelers which have working CS 1.6 player skins.

Spastiac Child has released a very nice set of player and hostage skins for CS 1.6. These are the some of best looking skins that I have come across in a while. CTs have photographic quality faces, are in blue urban camo, and are highly detailed. Ts are straight up street thugs and are also highly detailed. Hostage skins are also very well detailed and are holding weapons. These skins can be downloaded from Clan Special Skool.

Djiesse is another veteran in the CS MOD community. He has converted his older packs for use in 1.6 and is continuing to make more. There are 22 CT packs, 9 T packs, and 1 hostage pack. Based on real world special forces units and extremist groups.

To install player skins into CS 1.6, first go to your desktop and RT click on  "Start", then LT click on "Explore" and find your "Steam" folder. Open your "Steam" folder, then LT click on "SteamApps", LT click your "e-mail address", LT click "counter-strike", LT click "cstrike", LT click on "models", and LT click on "player". Now you are going to have to create sub folders for each model that you want to install. In your "player" folder create sub folders named: arctic, guerilla, leet, terror, gsg9, urban, gign, and sas. Now that you have created the sub folders open up your zip download and install mdl files into the corresponding folders. (ex: arctic.mdl -> arctic folder, terror.mdl -> terror folder, urban.mdl -> urban folder, etc..)  Install hostage models directly into your "models" folder.
