Typical Skidoosh babies..
My name is Marilyn Storey, and I live with my husband and little feline family in the small market town of Guisborough, on the edge of the North Yorkshire moors in the North East, UK. I am a caring and dedicated hobby breeder of British Shorthair Silver Tabbies and Silver Spotties and the interests of my adored cats and my lovely breed come first and foremost here..
My Skidoosh prefix was registered with the GCCF well over 20 years ago, my early breeding and showing experiences being with Orientals and Siamese. My Oriental blue girl Gr Ch Reydau Cyrolite Sika (37a ) was the first ever female Oriental blue Champion and then Grand Champion, she was Best of Variety (then Foreign Shorthair) at the Supreme in 1986.
Many years later, I am now totally devoted to my beautiful British Shorthair Silver Tabbies, having dedicated myself to the welfare and improvement of this gentle, loving and attractive breed. I am lucky that these days I do not need to work so have plenty of time to indulge myself in my hobby and enjoy the companionshipand love of my little feline family and I consider the bonus of having our kittens to be both a joy and a privilege.
I am proud to be part of a small group of caring and responsible silver tabby specialist breeders and close friends, known as the Britishsilvercats Group http://www.britishsilvercats.co.uk who put the interests of this breed first and foremost, and we are all hobby breeders. Our cats are our pets, they are family members and do not spend the greater part of their lives living outdoors in pens. Only the stud males within our group have to have their own outdoor accomodation due to their rather smelly habits.. Four members of our group have Grand Champion boys ( one is a UK Grand Champion.. ) My own young well bred black silver tabby stud boy is working now and his first babies have been born...
