About us

This website is the home to Skegness Swimming Club! Skegness Swimming Clubs is a joint venture between the local community, East Lindsey District Council and the Lincolnshire Sports Partnership. All have been working in partnership to create a new Swimming Club within Skegness to cater for both Junior and Senior swimmers to train, compete and have fun in a friendly and safe environment.

Club Aims and Objectives

Skegness Swimming Club aims to:

  • Offer a friendly and supportive environment for all members, which is both fun and safe.
  • Offer high quality teaching and coaching to all members.
  • By offering the above, enable all members to achieve their potential through learning to swim and competing at club, regional or national levels.

In order to achieve the club aims, we strive to fulfil the clubs objectives:-

  • Swimmers are taught the correct techniques to maximise their potential and enjoyment
  • The Club provides opportunities for swimmers to take part in competitive swimming through participation in League and Cup Galas throughout the year.
  • Coaches, officials, volunteers, helpers and parents are offered training opportunities to support the continual development of the clubs workforce
  • Swimmers with disabilities are fully welcome and integrated into the clubs activities
  • To remain a non-profit making organisation and therefore to charge merely to cover costs
  • Skegness Swimming Club promotes the teaching of swimming without distinction of ability, age, gender, race or political, religious or other opinions.
